Meet Callie Goodwin (@CallieGoodwin) founder of Sparks of Joy — a custom greeting card service.  After being exposed to COVID early on in the pandemic, Callie was stuck quarantining inside, by herself, for two solid weeks. And while most of us were binging Tiger King during our own quarantine days, Callie decided to use the time to design, write, and send custom greeting cards to friends and family.  She didn't know it at the time, but this decision would change her life forever.   You see, folks loved Callie's cards — and so did TikTok.   After one of Callie's posts went viral, TikTok reached out and asked her to be a part of their Impact Program (a program designed to help users leverage TikTok to grow their business).  Tune in to hear the fantastic story of how Callie turned her love of bringing people joy through handwritten, pre-stamped cards into a thriving small business with tens of thousands of dollars in sales. Residing and working in Youngstown, Ohio, Kati Hartwig has five years of higher education digital marketing experience as the Coordinator of Social Media and Digital Marketing at Youngstown State University (fun fact: they currently hold the world record for “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Penguins” – yes, it’s a thing). She manages the university’s official social media accounts, oversees a student ambassador program, coordinates content with departments and colleges, and helps write copy for the institution’s website. She was born and raised in Youngstown, and is a proud, two-time alum from YSU — it’s no wonder her favorite animal is the penguin. When she isn’t spending her days online, Kati loves to take copious amounts of photos of her dog, Sheba, visit with friends at one of the great wineries in northeast Ohio, bake with her mom, and cheer on her favorite sports teams (Go Steelers!).
