Just on lesson 2 at this point, but so far it&#39;s a good course (just using it as a refresher for me at this point).  Larson keeps messing up on the &#34;init&#34; naming convention meaning returning a retained object (the convention is messages that start with alloc (not init), new, copy, mutableCopy return +1, all others should return +0 autorelease), so those watching the memory management section in lesson 2 should keep that in mind.  (hopefully that&#39;s just a mistake he makes in this video, and not all the time ;)

Even in a post-ARC world you will still run into situations where you can&#39;t use ARC and you need to understand these concepts.
