Riverstown's Aoife McDermott was one of four local rugby players who helped Railway Union lift the women's AIL Division 1 league title this season. They beat Blackrock in Saturday night's televised final 24-18. Aoife spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Austin O'Callaghan after the win.

She represented Ireland in basketball, is a qualified special needs nurse - and works in clinical research. Giving back, helping others and an ambitious competitive desire has been a part of McDermott's makeup for years and that shines through this interview.
