In this episode, I talk with socially aware creative Georgie Greville about co-founding an inclusive brand in the beauty industry. She candidly shares about Milk Makeup's recently layoffs due to COVID-19 and the company's active response to Black Lives Matter.  She talks about the need to get better internally and the multiple actions they are taking to ensure that this inspires long lasting change and growth. Georgie aka "GG" is a true multi-hyphenate. She seamlessly functions as an entrepreneur, filmmaker and creative director with a unique combination of socially aware strategy, pop art direction and cinematic vision. She has received countless accolades for her work in pushing the boundaries of branding and content for incredible risk-taking brands such as Diesel, Versace, Evian, Belstaff, Rag and Bone and Target. GG Co-Founded Milk Makeup, where she leads the brand’s visual identity with a progressive, socially aware, multi-media presence. In her direction for Milk Makeup, GG has been able to infuse progressive modern values into every side of brand, from using clean ingredients and vegan, cruelty-free formulas to their leading stance on inclusivity and active philanthropic support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Under her supervision, the cosmetic brand has become an industry leader in inclusivity and has used its video campaigns to redefine conventional beauty standards and champion self expression.
