Todays guest is Claire Bloom who has been a friend/guru of mine for over 15 years now. Claire has been teaching fitness for over 22 years inspiring so many of us to move into the fitness worlds, helping me then mentor others into the fitness world. Claire has been into fitness from a young age, and is so passionate about helping keep others moving their bodies and back in 2009 Claire fell into the world of Triathlon Training which has led her to travelling all over the world competing in Great Britains Age Group Triathlon (Age Group 45-49). Claires first time for Great Britain competing in 2011 and came 6th place and showed us that anything is possible when you put your mind to something when you decide to try something out of your comfort zone. Since the pandemic Claire and myself stepped into the world of online teaching, despite having no clue about the digital world and absolutely winging what we was doing to begin with! We are still muddling our way through the world of technology, social media and marketing but having Claire on this journey too has helped me through my ups and downs of the online entrepreneurial business world. Both of us has stepped away from the gyms and totally changed how we move our bodies, stepping away from punishing our bodies to taking the less is more approach, plus we both now appreciate how important stretching is! Claire specialises in the over 40's age group for training and shares tips to get you moving, creating a routine to looking after our bodies with her words of wisdom. Tom Hooper won the Academy Award for Best Director for The King's Speech, which also won Best Picture and two other Oscars. Hooper, and cast members Claire Bloom and Jennifer Ehle, were the first guest speakers in the Museum of the Moving Image's brand new theater, which opened to the public on January 15, 2011.  Hooper had taken an overnight flight from Los Angeles after the Golden Globe Awards, where Colin Firth won Best Actor for his performance in The King's Speech. When entering the Museum's strikingly modern theater, Hooper exclaimed "what a magnificent cinema."
