Their donation-based, fair exchange model ensures everyone can enjoy this healthy, locally sourced and chef-crafted food, regardless of ability to pay.    Brad sheds light on his own personal journey, shares the story behind SAME Cafe and explains how we arrived there in his professional career. Also, we discuss the connection between food and community, along with the importance of dignity and respect in the nonprofit sector. He had previously lost his job and was experiencing homelessness and food insecurity firsthand. While homeless he came to SAME Café for nourishing meals during his time of struggle.
