David Trewavas: Taupo District Mayor hopes other councils will follow their lead with scrapping vaccine passes

Taupo police are investigating after two people were found dead in the shallows of the lake.Half a dozen officers have erected a tent on a rocky area, near the natural geothermal spring, Taharepa Baths.They're trying to identify the bodies and say post mortems will be done.Mayor David Trewavas says it's early in the investigation."A passerby noticed two people deceased in the lake and then everything kicked into action.Trewavas says it's a clear day but was very cold last night.Listen above as David Trewavas speaks to Heather du Plessis-Allan
