Ed is a social entrepreneur who is passionate about improving quality of life and employability of people who are blind or visually impaired. He believes that there is a business ROI to hire people who are "differently-abled" and he’s involved with several companies that are developing smartphone apps which will facilitate their employment. He founded TheBlindGuide.com in 2009, ensuring that people who have lost their sight shift their goals from surviving to thriving. He served in the US Naval Academy and is currently a mentor in their Alumni Mentoring Program. He leads with compassion and service to others…welcome to the show…Ed Henkler!
