This week on the Lady Leadership podcast I sat down with Vicki Macdermid from Equilead to to talk leadership and connection through the insights of horses. As an avid horse lover and horse rider this was a chat that I was really looking forward to. After spending about 30 years working in a corporate career in many leadership roles and being a partner of a large business called Pitch Partners plus a TedX speaker.  Vicki has launched her new business combining her love of horses and leadership. After attending a number of courses on leadership herself over the years, Vicki had the insight that learning comes from doing and participating not sitting in a classroom.  Plus after spending time with horses she saw that the best outcomes for horse and human come from connection.  When their is real connection in what we are trying to achieve together. As such, Vicki runs courses that involve teams working on the ground with a horse to achieve an outcome . As Vicki says the horse does not care is you are the Managing Director!
