Un attimo prima che questa storia abbia inizio, Limerick è il frontman di una delle rock-band più famose del mondo. Solo che, improvvisamente,  allapice del successo, decide di abbandonare sia il gruppo che la fama. Limerick fugge, dunque, si ritira dalle scene e va a rintanarsi in un piccolo appartamento spoglio, nel quale cerca lo spazio e il tempo per riflettere su tutto ciò che, fino a quel momento, lha circondato. Nel suo nuovo rifugio trova un vecchio impianto radiofonico, lo collega ad un microfono e, agganciando illegalmente le frequenze della radio nazionale, comincia a parlare.
