Agree or disagree, this podcast and its perspectives are not the kinds of things you typically hear from the pulpit. While a lot of the boomers and gen-x-ers are still wrapping their heads around grace vs works, millennials may struggle more with authenticity in religion, questions of faith and meaning, and supporting systems they see as imperfect. This podcast speaks to questions a lot of millennials have, who are not ready to totally abandon their faith, but have gotten ignored or are tired with not finding satisfying answers in traditional Seventh-day Adventist community, and it does so with humor, while sincerely handling tough topics. If you struggle with reconciling your faith with the current Adventist church, or have left the church because of the rigid lack of openness to questioning and and looking for something more, give this podcast a listen.

A little more REAL than you might hear in church

I have really been enjoying the Adventist Millennial podcast! I love the way she provokes deep intellectual thought, pointing out the double standard in Christian theology compared to reality. Her use of humor and satire blends cohesively with her ability to help you to see the flaws in Christianity, and more specifically Adventism, while also completely advocating for truth and, ironically or not, Adventism. For me, what she speaks about is not Earth shattering or mind blowing since I have been immersed in a design law message for the last 12 years and am a huge proponent of it, however, the way she speaks to it adds something new and exciting, something that I think a lot of millennials would resonate with. It will help to start at the beginning (with episode 1) though rather than just jumping in to a recent episode. However, if you just want to listen to a couple, I suggest episode 2 and 4 (and I just listened to episode 5 which is brilliant and a must listen).
