Updates and Agora Fest Announcement

To begin the study on the Sermon on the Mount, we'll start with the first of the Beatitudes, Blessed are the poor in spirit. In addition, I do an overview of the Beatitudes and pull from the similar account in Luke and other biblical parallels to shed more light on the various meanings and interpretations of these passages. As always, it also includes an assessment of how this verse and the principles behind it relate to our relationship with the state and government as an institution in general. To begin the study on the Sermon on the Mount, we'll start with the first of the Beatitudes, Blessed are the poor in spirit. In addition, I do an overview of the Beatitudes and pull from the similar account in Luke and other biblical parallels to shed more light on the various meanings and interpretations of these passages. As always, it also includes an assessment of how this verse and the principles behind it relate to our relationship with the state and government as an institution in general. Is it even possible for a government to exist with voluntary participation? One that is efficient, effective, and moral? I am proposing that not only is it possible but it would theoretically be much better than any current system in today's world. I lay out what this government would look like, how it would work, what the incentive models would be, and some ways it could actually be worked towards and partially adopted out of existing modern government structures. Is it even possible for a government to exist with voluntary participation? One that is efficient, effective, and moral? I am proposing that not only is it possible but it would theoretically be much better than any current system in today's world.
