Hey guys! I need to share with you something important and very sudden that I didn’t have planned before we get into today’s episode. You will understand this more as you listen to this episode with Jordan Raynor, but I’ve decided to make this the last running episode for the Refine and Restore podcast. It’s definitely bittersweet. I’ve SO enjoyed the process of sharing podcast episodes, guests and content with you all. It was definitely good for a season. But recently, I had been feeling the pull to complete this podcast earlier than I had planned and it’s all because of the recent early copy of a book I read by Jordan Raynor called Master of One, along with confirmation in prayer with God. You know when you have a good thing you can do but it doesn’t give room to the one thing that God is asking you to do that is going to be that much better? Yeah, that’s me right now in this season. We don’t think much of this because it feels normal. But I want to encourage you today to listen closely to the thoughts and phrases in your mind that you are saying about yourself and ask yourself, are these healthy thoughts and are they really true? And maybe this will encourage you to take an inventory of what your thinking about and telling yourself because maybe you have a few of your own that need removing or refining as well. 18: When will it be enough?

But what was good for a season doesn’t mean it will be good for this season. Or even right for the next season. This is something I’ve been learning. It’s something you need to know too.  But you need to know, you have options. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to explain the shift to anyone else, just like you don’t have to explain why you have to start wearing scarves, mittens and warm boots. Just make the shift you know you need to make. Take the next step with God to pursue whatever it is He is beckoning you to pursue with Him. There’s a reason you’re feeling the way you’re feeling.
