Our Christian life begins and ends with Jesus. He holds everything together. Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58. Jesus is always going to be the Great I AM in your life. Rejoice in the truth that he will never leave you or forsake you. Open the door of your heart and say “yes” to Jesus Christ.

The Great I AM

"He is alive! This is the greatest message ever told. This gospel message is a message of life. We see that through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:17 says “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” But, thanks be to God, Jesus was raised and in him we have eternal life.

The Grace Message

"As a child of God, you are forgiven. This truth is really the foundation of the Christian life. Coming to this knowledge is the key to accepting the eternal life God has provided for us. Jesus Christ provided this forgiveness at the cross.

You are Forgiven

"We are New Covenant. In the New Covenant, we find rest in our souls. It's what people are desperately looking for. Today we will look at the Word of God to learn about this New Covenant that we live in today.

A Child is Born

"As we approach Christmas, we often look at telling the story of baby Jesus. Today let's look at the story from God's perspective. John 1:1-18 describe God's love for mankind demonstrated in sending Jesus.

A Gift from God

The Image of the Invisible God

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is simple, powerful, and life changing. It declares the love of God for mankind. It is the good news people long to hear. Radio delivers it straight to the heart. But it is not enough just to hear the good news. God wants to make His love a reality in our lives. He wants us to believe it and live it. At Basic Gospel, we are dedicated to proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ and the profound simplicity of His love and grace. God is Grace

Jesus' Sacrifice 

"Yesterday we talked about the importance of our identity. In Christ we've been made new and give a brand new identity. Jesus came into this world to save sinners and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Now we've been born again into the family of God. We are children of God.  Romans 8:15-16 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God..." * How do we answer those who claim the power of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to keep the law? What about those who claim physical healing based on Isaiah 53? * Roman asks if it's OK to drink alcohol as a Christian?

Child of God

"What you see with every human being is the quest to find the answer to the question, 'who am I?" The Bible answers that question for us and we find the complete answer in Jesus Christ. Apart from Jesus we are sinners by nature. When we come to Christ we become saints. A brand new identity. * Isaiah 59:2 was given to me as proof that God doesn't hear the prayers of unbelievers. From Sinner to Saint

"We had a question about repentance yesterday and it's such an important subject to understand. Repentance deals with going from unbelief to belief. It's a change of mind ... a change of heart. It's the grace of God that moves us to a new understanding. "do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?" Romans 2:4 * I know repentance mean to change your mind. Is it wrong to teach that repentance mean to stop sinning? * If God is all-knowing then he knew before Lucifer's creation that he would stray. That being said, how was Lucifer not created to be damned? * John commented on one of our videos... "I feel like I've sinned to the point of a reprobate and now I'm his enemy. It's very scary." * How are we supposed to live out "be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect" when God knows we're not perfect? Matthew 5:43-48

Repentance

"Toward the end of his life Jesus gathered his disciples to prepare them for what was ahead. In John 13 Jesus chooses to wash the feet of the disciples. It was to show the full extent of his love. The next day he showed the ultimate act of love through his death on the cross. In the washing of the disciple's feet, he shared a new commandment. "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35 * Jeff calls for and explanation of "Blessed are the poor in spirit". * Can you explain how Preterists, Futurists, and Historicists view the Book of Revelation? * Could you please explain 1 peter 4:18? If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? * I know repentance mean to change your mind. Is it wrong to teach that repentance mean to stop sinning? * How can I be godly and loving to ungodly and unloving family members?

A New Commandment

""But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. " Romans 6:17 What does it mean to be obedient from the heart? * What do you say to people that use Acts 2:38 to support baptism is a commandment for salvation? * Is it necessary that the story of Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden be an actual, factual, historical event? Or can it be thought of as a metaphor? * Is it right for me to be bothered when I hear pastors on the radio or behind the pulpit to describe what my Lord did on the Cross as atonement? * Can you elaborate on the importance of prayer and how it still plays a role in altering circumstances?

A New Heart

"When we're trying to find truth, when we're trying to find answers... what's drives us is the feeling of incompleteness.  "And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" Colossians 2:10 * I've heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls. But I've never heard of the Lost Books of the Bible. I am sharing the Gospel with an individual who asked if I had heard of them. * I have read references which assert that most of the New Testament could not have been written by its reputed authors because they were illiterate fishermen. The law cannot save you. If you are trying to work your way into righteousness, you will never achieve it.
