3 stars bc I appreciate the effort but I love the school teacher guy but other guy seems so snobby.  The slow ha ha he he he laugh as he rips on every 80s horror.  Of you are such a horror fan then why have a horror podcast to always laugh at and ridicule   All negative. I’m trying to find something positive bc obviously your listeners that seek out horror podcasts are fans so always ripping on the movies doesn’t really mesh.  He he haha in snooty laugh like he made some better movie himself.  God what a deeeb. Although he did like return living dead but just the overall criticism of everything.  You must have a real fun life with that outlook.  If you don’t have fun watching horror then stop watching dork

Jeepers Creepers 3 sprung on us suddenly last year, seemingly out of nowhere. With a limited release in theaters for one day only, and an almost immediate release on VOD, we had high hopes for this film, based on the previous two. Sadly, we had to join the chorus of mixed reviews. But admittedly, it’s complicated.  Major thanks to the many people who requested this one as we wrap up request month!

Most notorious for a “shocking” twist ending, this otherwise forgettable summer camp slasher is a sort of low-rent Friday the 13th. It’s worth discussing, though, as we both discovered during this week’s episode. Check it out!

About a decade after the original shocker, Tobe Hooper directed his sequel starring Dennis Hopper and a whole load of crazies. We chose this film to finish up our month of notorious #2’s because Hooper and Co. decided to go a completely different direction with a wacky, gory comedy, instead of the shocking straight horror style of the original (which did, truth be told, have its own darkly comedic moments).

We were pleased to once again welcome Stephen King super-fan Jordan to guest with us on her request this week: 2017’s take on Stephen King’s iconic story, IT. The second part to the story is set to release next week, a scant 29 years after the original miniseries scared our kid pants off. You may remember we did a two-part series of podcasts over that series and Tim Curry’s legendary performance as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. We reference that project AND the book, of which all three of us are intimately familiar…but maybe not quite as familiar as Jordan, who is such a fan of King’s novel that she bears a custom tattoo to commemorate its impact on her life. Thanks again, Jordan, for your request and your unique insight into this terrifying tale.
