It’s accessible, it bridges the ever-present question of academic scholarship and relevance to contemporary life; frankly it skilfully lets out the hot air of pomposity in scholarship by flipping the equation and puts the onus on scholars and guests to explain why anyone ought to care about their work? And interestingly, there are good reasons why we should.
