If I could rate Dr. Shankar&#39;s lectures with more than 5 stars, I would! With just a piece of chalk, Dr. Shankar communicates physics from first principles and demonstrates mathematically why formulae we&#39;ve come to love &amp; memorize hold true. This IS physics as a science &amp; art!

 I took Physics 200 with his predecessor, Michael Zeller, over 20 yrs ago &amp; now teach AP physics. These videos are an invaluable resource, more helpful than Halliday &amp; Resnick &amp; teacher trainings. Dr. Shankar consistently chooses the most elegant derivations - brevity thy name is wit - &amp; I am glad that the Electricity &amp; Magnetism series is now available.

BTW, yes, that was Dr. Shankar on the iPad 2 ad!
