If I had the experience I now do, of knowing exactly how supportive numerology can be in your life, and business, I wouldn't have waited as long to change my name. The idea that Mary Magdalene and Yeshua may not only have had a relationship, but have been destined for each other beyond time and space, may perhaps to some seem outlandish, none the less it is the premise for Author Wencke Braathen’s historical novel Rituals in Sacred Stone. Sometimes you have to travel thousands of miles to learn that your most important journey is the one within. In this episode of The Magdalene Voices I join in Sacred Conversation with Lyna Rose. Lyna and I were brought together a few years back by our mutual love for A Course in Miracles, at a conference in New York and having followed Lyna’s pilgrimage to Southern France over the past year I was keen to learn about her experiences and discoveries. The Sacred Conversation is recorded just 2 weeks after Lyna’s return to the United States and is the first time she publicly shares her findings. It is personal and illuminating. When Layla and I came together for our Sacred Conversation one Tuesday afternoon we had originally intended for our conversation to be about Layla’s unveiling as a black muslim woman. However in the weekend before our recording white supremacists, neo-nazists and KKK marched openly in Charlottesville, Virginia. This sparked Layla to write a profound temple letter called  “I need to talk to spiritual white women about white supremacy” – a letter that, if you haven’t already, I highly encourage you to read. Feeling as though we’d been brought together for a higher purpose Layla and I decided to dive into the topic of White supremacy, patriarchy, racism and the Divine Feminine. As you will see and hear our conversation is open, raw and real. It may bring up guilt, shame, fear and blame – I know it did for me. So before you listen or watch I want to remind you that it is far easier to criticise, judge and project outwards than it is to truly sit with whatever arises within however dark it may be. It is however why you are here and I welcome you. “Through you this world will change” says A Course in Miracles. What that means is for you to shine a light on and heal what comes. Especially all of those uncomfortable, uneasy feelings. This is the true work of a master. Layla and I are, in this episode, not negating that you may have had it very rough, come from a troubled background or have had to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, however if you’ve been fortunate enough to have been born white then you haven’t had to teach your sons how to behave in order to avoid being killed by the police, you don’t have to add an extra 20-30 minutes of travel time to a meeting just in case you get pulled over for the millionth time for no apparent reason, nor have you experienced having your resume discarded simply because of your name. It is important that those of us who are born white finally acknowledges that not only is patriarchy and white supremacy real but also what it has put in place, because only in doing so are we able to finally begin creating a world that is for all. This Sacred Conversation with Layla was at times very uncomfortable for me truly realising the effects white supremacy have and how I inadvertently have benefitted from it without any thought. I’ve taken that as an opportunity for healing and transformation - I hope you will too... In this episode Layla and I talk about:  White supremacy. When Jonita reached out to me I thanked the Goddess for putting us together because I’d been calling out for someone to speak on this important topic – sensing her in the ethers but not knowing her name. The topic of menstruation, a woman’s cycles, her bleeding and the power of her blood is one that is very often taboo but in this episode that’s exactly what we’re diving deep into. For far too long women have allowed ourselves to be forced into patriarchal, shadow based ideas of what our menstruation and moon cycle is – making it dirty and shameful. When Jonita reached out to me I thanked the Goddess for putting us together because I’d been calling out for someone to speak on this important topic – sensing her in the ethers but not knowing her name. The topic of menstruation, a woman’s cycles, her bleeding and the power of her blood is one that is very often taboo but in this episode that’s exactly what we’re diving deep into. For far too long women have allowed ourselves to be forced into patriarchal, shadow based ideas of what our menstruation and moon cycle is – making it dirty and shameful. With this Sacred Conversation Jonita and I are hoping to support you in lifting the veils so that you might see, and begin to use the powerful tool you carry within. I should warn you – some of what you’ll hear in this episode might seem very far out but know that as with anything and all things, you, working with your cycles and blood is an ever unfolding journey. I remember the first time a client, as we closed our sacred space together shared with me how she felt deeply inspired by my apparent trust.  Trust in where I am at. Trust in whatever happens, happens for a reason. Trust in myself. Trust in others. Trust in God. Trust.  I was surprised by what she shared as I often am when others say the same. It made me reflect and I wanted to share it, and the evolution of trust into knowledge with you… First of all, I see trust as a muscle and thus something that can be trained. Meaning that I am in no way shape or form a Unicorn or special in any way. What I can do you can do. Simple. I am also fairly certain that having a near death experience at 11 helped. Having felt the out of this world bliss and ecstasy that permeated my entire being during what was only a few moments but felt timeless gave me the clear understanding that what we experience in our human form is not all there is. There has been many dark nights of my Soul. Many rude awakenings. Many times where I have wanted to run towards the nearest bridge and jump off into the bliss I felt during my near death experience. I, however, as you, the clever reader will know reading this, did not. For one simple reason. Love. Many moons ago, in this lifetime, I actively chose to return to love and I did that by choosing it. For me that meant saying out aloud “I choose love” many times a day for a long period of time. At that time I had absolutely NO clue what that meant, nor did I realise at the time, that it was a re-turn; that is a coming home to what I had never ever left, nor ever could or can. I choose love became my guiding light and so no matter how dark my life has been, no matter how many limiting beliefs I have had to dissolve, no matter how many material possessions I have had to give up, no matter how many challenges, obstacles and blocks I have had to overcome as a souldriven, heart based solopreneur, “I choose love” has been, is and always will be my mantra. Because for me, being a souldriven, heart based solopreneur and a Magdalene Rising this is not only my work but my path. This is where my unveiling and awakening journey lies. However my trust has turned into something deeper. It has gone from trust to knowledge, and this is what I share with you in todays episode of The Magdalene Voices.
