I’m having a second think about this day off thing. Taking a step back and seeing if it’s doing what I need and what the side effects are. I also talked about Prey and Eve Online.

It’s been a long, tiring week. Talked about the Cat, Manuscript, and Eve Online. Picked some rye seed heads. We’ll see how they do.  Lots of heavy engine noise this morning.

Trying to get back in the groove. Talked about the last couple of days. She’s a trooper and we’ll get through it. Talked about Eve and my perspective on accepting it as it is.

A lovely morning and I’m glad I got out early. I talked about the week ahead, poolish bread, and rye flour.  ETA: I lied. Surgery and follow up tomorrow and Wednesday.

Perfect weather for a walk this morning. Mid-sixties. A bit of breeze. Early enough that I found a lot of shade. Talked about prairie grasses and Jenny Schwartz’s Delphic Dame series this morning. Among other things.

Day 2365: Sunday Strolling

I miss them. I didn’t talk about them today but I’ve been thinking about them a lot. I’m probably going to start taking Saturday’s off instead of trying to work 7 days a week for months on end. Also worked through where I need to be spending my time right now in order to clear the backlog.

I find the podcasts very engaging. After listening to quite a few of his books, I have enjoyed listening to his daily musings, from thoughts on the writing process, being a teacher, thoughts about food, yapping dogs, frozen beards, nature observations... I always look forward to the next recorded walk.
