Self Improvement Needs To Be On Your To-Do List - Podcast #388

What Are We Carrying? - Podcast #335

Relationships - with today's technology there is really no reason to not keep up with them and to keep in touch with people that you care about.   It's become apparent to me that I need to do a better job at this in my life   Just found yesterday about a friend of mine that I grew up with just recently passed away earlier this year from cancer.   Erin was a neighbor - 2 houses away - and a friend and she was my senior prom date too.  I sure did not do a great job at all keeping in touch with her over the years.  She is one that I needed to thank, simply for being a part of my life and now it's too late.  I'm sitting in a rest area on my way to some technology training for school - listening to John O'Leary's podcasts - yes... the author of "On Fire"... you NEED to get that book.  Relationships are a big part of his book and his podcasts.... I had to stop and not only use the bathroom... but I needed to get this podcast recorded as it was heavy on my mind and heart. Simple things sometimes equal the biggest results.   As my wife and I were walking our dog around the track at our local middle school - it dawned on me (once again) on how fast time is flying by.  There has been this Time Management discussion that some say we can't "manage" time.  But I think you can - If you take time in 15-minute breakdown segments - I think that we all have the power to choose what we do with that 15 minutes - or whatever time frame it is in.  Time management is really all about Life Management.  It's the one currency we all have.  Look at today how you are managing your time -how you are managing your life.  Always remember we can choose to do anything we want along with making any change we want to make if we are not happy with our Life Management choices.  Great and deep concept there and I would love to have some discussions on it. Motivation To Stop Making Excuses - Podcast #252

What a great weekend - basketball and friends.  We had a huge mega scrimmage that we went to this past Saturday &amp; we learned a lot of things that will help us to get better for this season.  My wife and I also had a great time with friends that night.  These friends are some of the best people that I've had in my life - a few for over 45 years.  We had fun, played games, talked, got caught up with each other's lives, just an evening that was great for the soul. A great weekend to kind of kick off summer.  Watching the US Open has always been something I enjoy watching.  The final round is always on Fathers Day - which goes perfectly together.  The great game of golf has been introduced by so many fathers / grandfathers and mothers and grandmothers too - to their kids.  We also had another great life-event yesterday - a wedding of our neighbors oldest daughter.  So many fantastic lessons during this weekend.
