For example.He/She is smart.matalino siya.Now if you want to say I am smart, you take out siya from the previous sentence, and we replace it with ako, which is I in english.  so it becomes.I am smart.matalino ako.so that is the pattern, first is the adjective, then the pronoun, so if you want to say you are smart, you say.You are smart.Matalino ikaw.So far so good, i hope so.Now if we want to say, they are smart, again we put the adjective first then the pronoun, so we get.They are smart.Matalino sila.Now we in tagalog is tayo, so if you want to say we are smart, we say.We are smart.Matalino tayo.Great.
