Today is the 19th anniversary of one of the worst days in American history. Everyone who was alive to witness this horrific tragedy has a story to tell about that day. Throughout history there have been tales of giants. As is the case with most fantastical stories there is usually some level of truth to those stories. Giants are no different. From Homer's Odyssey and Cyclops to Goliath of David and Goliath fame to the Kandahar Giant. As with a lot of historical stories there is little evidence outside of oral tradition or in some cases written texts, this is not the case when it comes to giants. With giants we have the pleasure of having skeletal remains. Throughout history there have been countless reports of abnormally and unusually large skeletons, these are the GIANTS!

In 1909 an interesting article was published in the Arizona Gazette about an impressive archaeological find in the Grand Canyon. If this was a legitimate article and not an April Fool's joke, it would bring with it a potential rewriting of the history books and the origins of the indigenous peoples of the United States. However, just as mysterious as this article was, so was the two men involved supposedly in the find. According to the article they worked under the direction of the Smithsonian Institute, however the institute claims no knowledge of them or their find. S1E14 - The Majestic 12

For thousands of years man has witnessed the unexplained, from unknown creatures, to specters, to marvelous and scary flying objects. Out of all that has been witnessed, few things have appeared repeatedly in basically the same location for centuries like the visits by the Little Red Man.

Between November 1966 and December of 1967, the Point Pleasant, West Virginia area was plagued by creepy and downright terrifying sightings of a flying humanoid creature. That creature would eventually receive the moniker of Mothman. This series of unexplained sightings culminated in the unexpected collapse of the Silver Bridge which claimed the lives of 46 people. Fast forward to modern day Chicago... There have been numerous sightings of a similar type creature in and around Chicago proper. Is this somewhat of a replay of the events that took place in West Virginia all those years ago? Or is there another explanation. The supposed secret group appointed by President Truman, coined the Majestic 12 consisted of 12 members with the US government's highest Top Secret clearance. This clearance and their modus operandi were defined in an Operations Manual that was covertly mailed to an investigative group. As in the first leaked MJ-12 documents in 1984, this manual was contained on a 35mm film roll also. Every possible scenario and situation is covered in this hands on manual. Of course, as with the other documentation that has surfaced about this secret organization within the ranks of our government, their are questions and many who claim all of this to be bogus. The Shroud of Turin, is it an elaborate fake or the actual burial cloth of Jesus. Since the shroud has appeared in history these questions have surrounded it. Scientist have studied the shroud multiple times with differing results. However, there is compelling evidence which links the shroud to the time of Jesus, therefore potentially confirming it's authenticity. Unfortunately, questions remain and the window of doubt is still open.

Some of these have been for some twisted purpose and others just because the person doing the experiments was twisted. What are these creatures that people are seeing in these woods and rural areas? Through the history of this country there have been many dark periods. Even though this period took place before we were an independent country, it was still a black eye in our history. The series of many events that made up the Salem Witch Trials shows you how ideas and false accusations can explode and snowball into catastrophic consequences. Many innocent people lost their lives for senseless accusations. The prejudices and untruths presented during the trials were horrendous. However, all generations following this dark period should have used it as a great example of how society can decay quickly on false accusations. Even today, we some of the same types of things going on that happened back in 1692. Prejudices and preconceived notions about certain people and then throw in personal disagreements and you could very easily come up with a similar situation to what we saw during these dark days in 1692.
