When you begin to release the “lockdown” that your body has been trapped in for years (and sometimes even decades) you are inviting a new possibility of communion with your body. Everybody has experienced some kind of trauma during their lifetime, either physical, emotional, spiritual or mental. Surrender is necessary if resistance is present healing cannot happen. Also, you have to go all the way to the foundation in order to allow healing to follow its course.  If you had trauma in the past, you cannot skip over it, it will come back to remind you that it has unsolved issues which need to be addressed in order to overcome the limitations and open wounds. We create safety mechanisms that will prevent us from facing the truth and choose beyond it. These mechanisms work for a while but what do you do when what you used to do does not work anymore? Domestic violence is a big subject, not just in the U.S., but worldwide. In many ways, it touches all of us, not just the victims and perpetrators. Make no mistake...any reason for staying is a lie and only serves to sanction the actions of the abuser and enable children to believe it's okay. It keeps you stuck in a No-Choice Universe. How do you know when you or someone you love is caught in an abusive entanglement? Here are some questions to help you recognize the danger signals: Do you feel trapped or hostage in your relationship? Do you hold secrets? Are you afraid to show the world about your relationship?	Are you isolating or withdrawing? Is your life becoming really small?	Are you staying for the children? Asking these questions and knowing what to do in response to them can make the critical difference and begin to orient you in the direction of freedom. Using the 4 C's of Radical Aliveness can set you clearly on that path.

The No Choice Universe of Domestic Violence

Have you ever experienced, a sensation of unease…an uncomforting build-up…almost as if invisible rocks started appearing, and attaching to your body…inside and out… just a heaviness, slowly piling up, more and more, until you feel completely out of control? The awareness of anxiety is so real. Yet, when looking at what can be done about it, or rather, how the triggers for this cage-creating happening are not yours, and should’ve never been acknowledged as being yours, there seems to be a feeling of unawareness. You get stuck in fear, whereas the thing you are afraid of, is not yours. This fear is a lie, and has convinced you, that it is bigger than you. It’s not in your control, so why allow this faker, this uncontrollable worry, to negatively impact your being, and distract you from living freely as YOU? Can you identify what it is you’re trying to control, while you’re distancing from you? Let’s raise the Anti-Anxiety flag up high, and stand up for the right to be the bigger being.

The #metoo movement struck a chord in women around the world. All of a sudden there was a permission slip, an invitation, to come forward with our stories of past sexual abuse. But when does telling our story free us and when does it lock us further in our own cage of abuse? When does public sharing of our stories empower us and when does it stick us in judgment or even shame? What has the #metoo movement done to bring us closer together versus alienate men and women? As Oprah shared at the Golden Globes recently, “Speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have.” Yes, and… How can we tell our stories in ways that free us from the story and take us beyond abuse? How can we create new stories that bring us together instead of separating us? What else is possible when we use our stories and our truth as tools to set us all free?

The MeToo Movement: Possibility or Limitation - or Both?

Space as creation, are you willing to have it? During this time of year, time stands still, everything seems to slow down allowing the space to perceive our relationships, business and work from a different perspective, from a space of radical aliveness. We have more time to just be and forget about the hectic lifestyle we normally have. Also, this space can be uncomfortable and unfamiliar, which can create a sense of anxiety, depression, and the feeling that something is wrong. Choosing for YOU

Is your relationship the creation of what else is possible?  In the reality relationships are actually the distance between two things. If you are creating from the space of what else is possible, there is no room for expectations, judgments and fixed positions. What can relationship be if we uncover the lies hidden in the distance we create between us and others and us and ourselves?

When we assess the word ‘pardon’ we may find a variation of definitions, but overall they all point to the same idea: forgiveness. To forgive others, is a part of the unspoken societal guidelines, with regards to relationships, acceptance of one another, moving beyond past conflicts, and acknowledging the human part of our being. What many people don’t comprehend is how essential forgiving not only others is, but how important it is to forgive yourself too. Forgiveness is unconditional – when you forgive, you must be willing to let go – to forgive, and to be free. Humans are not perfect in the general sense where everyone needs to be symmetrically the same. Yet, each individual is perfect in their own way. Do you recognize when it’s time to forgive others? Do you know when it’s time to forgive YOU? Do you feel out of touch with the present as if you’re living with what seems to be a recorded loop of your past? Whatever it may be that is keeping you in this state of living life as the Past You, rather than the Present You, whether it is something pleasant or painful from your past…Too much living in longing, only stops you from committing to moving forward with your life. Being continuously reminded of how things used to be, tends to create a sense of living in a secure bubble where no harm can be done to you. You might feel safe and ok, but miss out on experiencing exhilarating moments of living, and fully being the amazing version of you. People tend to hold on to loved ones who’ve passed away, memories, relationships, things that are no longer relevant to the NOW. This can warp the perspective of how you see the path, and the road ahead, hindering your ability to move forward, because you always seem to stop and look back. How do you rediscover the gratitude for you, the kindness of you, the love of you, once again? How do you move beyond your abuse?
