From KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas, this is the story of Genene Jones: The woman known as Texas' "killer nurse" and the vial of a powerful drug that became the smoking gun in the case against her. She was set to get out of prison on early release after serving just a third of a 99-year sentence. Investigators on the case say she is suspected in the deaths of dozens of children under her care while she was a nurse in San Antonio in the early 1980s. However, she has only been convicted of one child's death. In the VILE Podcast series, fast forward to 2017 when a new team of investigators is working to change that and ensure she stays behind bars.

I don’t know why they had to have such long music runs. It was annoying. 
They could have done this in much less episodes. It’s an interesting story but you drug it out too long and I would have rather heard more about what she did back then. Maybe I’ll read the book.  It has to be more interesting.

Music was annoying-last few episodes were kinda interesting

Besides hitting one 30 year old murder case from every angle, no details are given on the five new cases being brought against her. The hospital, outside of one episode, were completely let off the hook for employing and covering for the nurse (compare the kid gloves of this podcast to the fire brought in the Dr. Death podcast). This podcast seems content to report released information but is not going to go out of its way to do any sort of investiation on its own. PS. the sound effect of the VHS tape is super cheesy, we get it the case happened in the 80’s.
