So, the big question is this…. How are every-day, spiritually minded women like us who don’t love the spotlight, who are willing to risk everything to create lives we LOVE, how do we market ourselves in a way that feels GOOD, while still becoming profitable? Even after I completed B-School with Marie Forleo. Even after I spent a ton of money on my initial websites (which by the way, I never used).I still felt like I wasn’t a real entrepreneur.I went to networking events with my flashy new business cards, feeling like a complete fraud.Women gravitated towards me and my passion, and that scared me because deep down, I felt I was a faker.I felt like I was on the outside looking in at a pretty glass window, filled with happy, beautiful entrepreneurs who spent their days working in beautiful cafes, traveling the world, and mingling with other amazing women entrepreneurs. I craved being one of those happy entrepreneurs whose lives felt so effortless and care-free.I Felt Like I Needed To "Fix Myself" Or "Learn More" Before I Was ReadyI spent a lot of those beginnings years trying to find ways to fix myself and to earn my right to take up space, and to hang my shingle as a coach. I attended conventions, retreats, read self-help books, bought online programs, and made tons of to-do lists.I coached for free, I traded coaching, and charged really low fees to get experience. I went back to a corporate job so I could pay my bills, and spent my free time doing a lot of things I thought entrepreneurs did – I made a logo, made business cards, networked locally, made lists (seriously, I made a lot of lists).But even after all of this, I still felt like I wasn’t the real deal. I couldn’t figure out how to make the leap, and I didn’t know how to turn pro. And I was working REALLY hard – nights, weekends, holidays.So what happened? What’s the “secret?”It’s not really a secret, it’s actually a simple truth that I know all successful entrepreneurs can relate to.If you can relate to anything I’ve said so far, pay attention to what I’m going to say next because this is IT lightworkers, this is the secret sauce.I made a decision to be successful.I decided I was going to be successful, no matter what.I decided to no longer be available to my bullshit, my lies, the excuses that I told myself. I decided to no longer be available to going back to a job, to make money while I built my business. I decided that I was SO OVER living a life that felt completely un-aligned and that I was done with it – that I was going to take that hard action that I needed to move forward (more on this later).In that moment, I decided that I was going to do everything I could to make it as a coach. Not tomorrow, not next month, not next year. Starting NOW.One of my mentors and coaches, Gina DeVee, has a quote that I love – she says “go after it like your hair is on FIRE.”Don’t get me wrong – before that moment, I was trying really, really hard. But at the end of the day, I still had a job to fall back on in case I failed. I could always work on my business on the side, I told myself. The truth is, I hadn’t burned my bridges to my mediocre life.Which meant that it was still a very real possibility to me to fail.Everything Became Clear After I Decided Success Was the Only OptionI knew that success was the only possibility because I would not STOP until I got there. I invested in the best coaching for me, the best business and marketing training, the best website, designers, support, software.I decided to show up for my business by being consistent in my content, my Instagram, my newsletter, my Podcast. To get on calls with potential clients, even though it scared me.Once you decide to succeed, and make yourself available to nothing less, everything becomes easy.The aching question of "but-what-if-I-fail" is no longer there.You act as if you are going to succeed because you have a conviction that you are. And that’s what makes it so.When I decided to succeed in my business, I made some other decisions that were tough, and looking back, I know that's why I didn't make the decision earlier.3 Big Life Decisions I Made After I Decided To SucceedFirst, I left my 9-5 job and moved back in with my grandparents to work on my business full-time. This wasn’t easy – I was already married, and felt super ashamed of doing this, and to top it off, my family was anything but supportive of my dreams.Second, as you may know, I was forced to re-examine my marriage with a man I LOVE with all my heart, because I knew there was healing that needed to happen in that area before I could be successful. This broke my heart, but now, our relationship is so much stronger because of it.Third, I got into credit card debt to pay for the programs I knew would take me forward. I grew up in a household that things credit card debt was REALLY bad and shameful, but I had to get over that because I wasn’t going to get the money anywhere else (I had no savings, and no one would help me).If I didn’t do decide to take those hard actions, I wouldn’t be typing this up at a gorgeous beach-side café in San Diego, while I’m prepping for my next coaching call.But the decision to take those actions was a no-brainer, once I decided to succeed. It was scary, but it was still OK because I kept the bigger picture in mind.Without that decision, those actions wouldn't have been worth it because that would have meant risking my whole life for no promised payoff.Make sense?Alright lightworkers, I truly hope that this has served you today!Let me know in the comments below what action you need to take to move forward and decide to succeed!P.S. IT 026: How To Go From Aspiring Coach To Fully Booked Coach & Legit Girl Boss

I just got home from a crazy-amazing trip adventuring in Hollywood with my hubby. IMG_3015 We explored the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, then spent a soul-healing and inspiring day on Saturday hanging with Oprah, Eckhart Tolle, Marie Forleo, Kris Carr and company at Super Soul Sessions.It was amazing and so fun!But.At the end of the day on Saturday, I was completely exhausted and ended up with The Biggest Migraine of My Life. I couldn’t even bring myself to hit up the B-Schooler meetup in LA after Super Soul Sessions. I felt like I got hit by a bus.While I’ve been busy growing my business, preparing for our May move to San Diego, adventuring, traveling and expanding my soul (all amazing things, mind you!),... I completely forgot to take care of myself.This is a big no-no for lightworkers, intuitives and empaths like myself.I’m not talking about manifesting, meditating, and working out, because I do those things religiously. I’m talking about basic self-care 101, like taking my vitamins, eating nutritious food, and making it a point to check in and be present with my body.I didn’t check in with myself until I was forced to. I’m still recovering.I realized… if I struggle with this, this has got to be something that you all struggle with too, especially because I know so many of you are intuitives and empaths as well! So I thought it would be helpful to share my own process for easing back into self-care.5 steps to ease yourself back into self-care:Identify what happened Without going too deep into self-analysis and the shame spiral, objectively ask yourself - what happened? What beliefs did I hold that made me stop taking care of myself? In my case, I told myself it was OK because I was moving, going on vacation, and was generally busy - self care could come later. What are your limiting stories around self-careIdentify Your Truth Once I stepped back and identified what my limiting stories were, I realized my truth: being healthy and taking care of myself is a critical part of showing up as a lightworker and effective coach. It was just as important (if not more important!) than anything else I was doing in my business. This is something I always logically knew, but didn’t really know, until I had a minor wake-up call. Oprah also said another universal truth - there will always be a reason to postpone taking care of yourself because we are ALIVE. Holidays, birthday parties, vacations, moving… life happens. Energetically decide that now is the time to live your truth. Once you’re grounded, ask yourself for the truth behind your story – your intuition will answer.Make the decision to forgive yourselfMake the decision to forgive yourself, even if you don’t particularly feel forgiveness initially. That’s OK. I felt like I got hit by a bus.While I’ve been busy growing my business, preparing for our May move to San Diego, adventuring, traveling and expanding my soul (all amazing things, mind you!),<h2>... I completely forgot to take care of myself.</h2>This is a big no-no for lightworkers, intuitives and empaths like myself.I’m not talking about manifesting, meditating, and working out, because I do those things religiously. I’m talking about basic self-care 101, like taking my vitamins, eating nutritious food, and making it a point to check in and be present with my body.<h2>I didn’t check in with myself until I was forced to. I’m still recovering.</h2>I realized… if I struggle with this, this has got to be something that you all struggle with too, especially because I know so many of you are intuitives and empaths as well! So I thought it would be helpful to share my own process for easing back into self-care.<h2>5 steps to ease yourself back into self-care:</h2><ol><li>Identify what happened Without going too deep into self-analysis and the shame spiral, objectively ask yourself - what happened? What beliefs did I hold that made me stop taking care of myself? In my case, I told myself it was OK because I was moving, going on vacation, and was generally busy - self care could come later. What are your limiting stories around self-care</li><li>Identify Your Truth Once I stepped back and identified what my limiting stories were, I realized my truth: being healthy and taking care of myself is a critical part of showing up as a lightworker and effective coach. It was just as important (if not more important!) than anything else I was doing in my business. This is something I always logically knew, but didn’t really know, until I had a minor wake-up call. Oprah also said another universal truth - there will always be a reason to postpone taking care of yourself because we are ALIVE. Holidays, birthday parties, vacations, moving… life happens. Energetically decide that now is the time to live your truth. IT 017: 5 Steps to Ease Back Into Your Self Care Practice (After Repeatedly Falling Off The Wagon!)

Plus, working closely with some amazing mentors and entrepreneurs myself, I’ve seen what it takes to make your business a reality.So let’s dive right in…First, how do you know when you’re coming across an energetic belief?The best way for me to explain this is to share with you a real life story about my early days of entrepreneurship.When I was first starting out, I felt like I was doing everything I needed to do at that point to start my business – start a website, regularly post valuable content, reach out to JV partners, listen to business Podcasts and learn from online marketing gurus I admired, like Marie Forleo.But nothing was happening. And even though I told myself that I was trying, a part of me knew that I wasn’t doing everything I could – that I was sabotaging myself somehow.Finally, these beliefs surfaced – I’m not a real entrepreneur. I’m a fraud. My business isn’t a real business, and I don’t even know if I can help people. How can I charge people if I don’t even know if I can help them? I’m way out of my league here. What am I thinking…?So you can see that even though from the outside, I was a busy body, these beliefs were getting in the way of my business’ success.For example, I would reach out to JV partners, and instead of seeing the value I had to bring to the table, I would put them on a pedestal because they were “real entrepreneurs” and I thought I wasn’t. Not an attractive energy for a JV partner, let me tell you!Another example, because I believed that I wasn’t a real entrepreneur, I didn’t make any money, even though I inspired people. I was playing small – I was posting quotes and inspirational content online, but I wasn’t putting my actual business systems into place to actually sell anything because I didn’t take myself seriously as a real coach and entrepreneur.Lastly, I couldn’t stomach investing money in working with a high-level coach (or even talking to a coach!) because I secretly didn’t think that I could make the money back. Talk about planning for failure! I was manifesting my financial struggle in business by not willing to believe I’d have enough income in the future to cover my investments.These beliefs can sabotage you, even if you think you’re doing everything you can.So take a moment and feel into this… where do you feel blocked in your business today? Jot that down, and pause this Podcast if you need to.Next, I want to walk you through the foundation of the 6 step formula I use on myself and with my private clients for moving past beliefs that are no longer serving you.Ask yourself, what belief needs to be shifted in order for me to move past this?Listen to your guidance.Once you get an idea of what the belief is, examine what it sounds like. Where it came from. Is it your mom’s voice? Your dad’s? How long have you had it? How does it manifest in your life today? Your business? Your relationshipsAsk yourself, is this belief still true for me today? Is it still serving me? Usually, the answer is No, so bring your awareness to how it’s no longer working for you.Next, ask yourself what beliefs would serve you better, and choose your new beliefs. What would you rather believe instead of this? IT 042: How To Know If You're Sabotaging Your Success + What To Do About It

I know them well, too.So to give you some extra momentum, today I’m going to share with you an important decision you have to make as an early entrepreneur to get your business up and running. It’s something that I’m deeply excited about, because I believe that as intuitives and introverts, we have an edge over everyone else in this category (yes, I’m totally biased, what can I say).You may have heard before that content is king, and in the online world, nothing could be more true.As an online coach and entrepreneur, the only way you can make sales and get clients is by putting out consistent content that your ideal customers will love and resonate with.So the decision you have to make is simply this: what type of content would you like to put out on a regular basis?Ask yourself the following questions:What kind of content would light you up to put out? What do you naturally love to do? What do you think would be fun, even if it’s a little outside of your comfort zone? What type of content do you absolutely want to steer away from (at least for now)?This decision is so important because if you’re not feelin’ your content medium, your audience can tell.On the other hand, if you LOVE the way you’re delivering your content, your audience will too.That’s why when I have clients who love to write, I tell them to write. Or if they love to make videos, I tell them to make videos (and later, to transcribe the videos to post on to their site).Great news! There is not a whole lot of decision to be made here.There are 4 types of content to choose from:WritingThis can include quotes, captions, newsletters, blogs… anything you put out with the written word!VideosLive VideosAudio/PodcastsAll I’m asking from you today is that you pick ONE main way to provide valuable content to your list.Use your intuition as well as that smart brain of yours to decide what feels right for you to start. I guarantee you already know the answer!You CAN and WILL - slowly but surely - expand the ways you like to provide content, but you don’t have to worry about that right now. For example, I started with writing, then went into Podcasting, then videos, then finally, I’m tip-toe-ing into Live Video. But I could NOT have started out with live video at first – if I pressured myself to do that in the very beginning, I wouldn’t have even started!And let me let you in on a little secret… it always feels sort of awkward and scary to start! I still get nervous when I’m stepping outside of my comfort zone (like when I did my first FB live a few weeks ago!), but I love and savor this feeling, because it means I’m growing.If you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, chances are, you also love to grow and learn as well, and owning your own business is a sure way to grow both financially and spiritually.So for now, choose your favorite and give yourself full permission to knock it out of the park.Some people to say to choose content that your audience will love to digest, and there is some truth to that – for example, I recently learned that a lot of you love video (who knew?!), and now I make videos too! BUT, I only did it when I was ready. The thing is, I personally don’t believe in forcing yourself to do something you don’t enjoy in your business – that’s a surefire way to make sure you don’t get the momentum you desire.Your audience will resonate the MOST with whatever content style you feel the most natural and comfortable in today.As a sidenote, this isn’t to say that you will LOVE to create content every single time, because some days, you won’t be feeling inspired, creative, or want to write content, even IF it’s the kind of content you enjoy.And let me tell you, the ones who PUSH through when that happens – who write the email, even when they’d rather go to the beach or lounge on their couch – are the ones who will SLAY it in their business this year.Now I do want to say that no matter what you choose, there will be a writing component because you should be sending out a regular written newsletter if you aren’t already.But if writing isn’t your jam, but audio/video is, you can record yourself speaking what you want to say and then transcribing it for your audience to digest in your newsletter.Alright, so to recap… your only homework for today is to choose what type of content you’d like to put out! IT 033: What Type Of Online Content Should You Create As A New Coach And Purpose-Filled Entrepreneur?

IT 040 Podcast Information: Listen in iTunes HereListen Here Without iTunes Transcript available belowHey lightworkers, it’s Mona Lisa and it’s Intuitive Tuesday, the radio show helping intuitives, introverts and empaths manifest the conscious and abundant life and business that they desire.I want to talk today about a belief that’s been rearing its ugly head in my own life, and in the lives of so many of the women I speak with on a daily basis (on from word on the street from the FB group and in conversations with you!).I’ve been hearing variations of the belief that we must struggle and work really hard and slave away in order to be successful.And this belief can show up in all kinds of different ways and it can be very detrimental when starting a business, or when continuing a business that has already seen a level of success, or when you’re desiring to uplevel.So in any stage of business, this belief can show up and do some serious damage.The first thing I wanted to do is bring some awareness of this belief in your own life.If this is coming up for you… see if this resonates with you in your core and if this feels like something that you’re struggling with.Some ways that this belief can show up:Believing that being busy and stressed out is glorified (even if you don’t consciously believe that!), it can show up by being busy and not being present, and rushingBeing really inspired and motivated to work on your business at first... and then putting on the brakes and self-sabotaging because a part of you believes that because success is right around the corner, it means you’ll have to struggle and the hard, hard work and tears is right there waiting for youNot being able to relax in the things that you’ve already created in your life… it doesn’t necessarily need to be in business if you’re new. Maybe there are other areas of your life where you have worked hard and have a lot of things that you’ve accomplished and feel proud of.Where in your life can you put down this go-getting energy and instead sit in the appreciation of what you’ve already created?Take baby steps in celebrating what you’ve already done, what you’re already rocking in other areas of your life before you do this with your business and money mindset.I want to differentiate here – it’s not that you don’t have to work hard.In the book Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, he talks about how money doesn’t have to be this hard work/labor/burden type of thing in order for it to come to you.But there does need to be action you do need to be taking consistent action, you do need to be setting up your structures, and speaking to your tribe and being visible, and sometimes that process isn’t enjoyable... nothing is going to be 100% OMG I love doing X all the time.I don’t know what the pieces for you are in your business that you don’t necessarily enjoy, but that’s not to say that it needs to be a struggle and a burden, and feeling like “OMG this absolutely sucks and my blood and sweat and tears are going into this journey, and I need to not go to sleep and work 24 hours in a row, and make my hormones imbalanced, and gain a bunch of week and not take care of myself and work myself to the bone so that I can be successful!”If you’ve already started a business and if you feel like this is self-sabotaging you, or if you’ve already received a level of success and you aren’t able to experience it, and this whole topic is resonating with you, then I first want you to focus on awareness.In what ways is this belief of struggle = success, showing up in your life? What is it making you do or not do? Is it making you really go for it in your business and slow down, or be in overwhelm, or stay stuck in perfection? How is this specifically showing up in your business and life?Be willing to examine the belief and really see the repercussions that this belief and then holding on to it for dear life, is having on your on your business.As they come up, be willing to challenge them, you can journal about it, and if you have a coach, share it with your coach. Really be willing to call it out – don’t let it be in hiding anymore.Make it a big deal.Make this belief showing up in your life be a big deal, call it out! Call it out to a coach, call it out to a friend, journal it, and call it to the surface so you can then see how it’s affecting your life.Then ask yourself, what are the news beliefs that you’d like to have instead of this one of success is struggle. What is the new belief you’d like to have?Then begin to choose those new beliefs in that moment as your old belief comes out.It will be a process of showing your old belief the door, allowing it to exit, and then creating space for your new belief to blossom.Choose beliefs like… “success feels good, success comes easily to me, successful flows to me, I am already successful.” Make affirmations about them and really belief and feel them as you say it.And ask yourself, where in your life can you allow yourself to experience more happiness for what you’ve already achieved? Where doesn’t it need to be a struggle where you’re still making it a struggle? Where can you experience more deep gratitude and more presence in your life?It’s in the every day moments where I realize I’m hanging on to my old beliefs, it’s not always on the meditation pillow, or during an epiphany in yoga, sometimes it’s when I’m making tea or making dinner.In the moments when you catch yourself acting a certain way because of your belief, remember you can choose otherwise.You have the power to choose in every moment, and that’s what Gabby Bernstein calls a miracle – that instant shift in perspective, instead of choosing fear, choosing love.

How do you offer your services with confidence? How do you put content out there with confidence?I get this question and where it’s coming from because when I first started out I did not have much confidence at allIn fact I deferred to a lot of other people and put my intuition about what I should talk about about and what mattered to me on the back burner. I felt like people didn’t really care about what I have to say.This is where I see a lot of new coaches get mixed up.When I was first starting, I felt like I had to have a “good marketing message” and I had to talk about things that would “sell” or somehow come across correctly. I felt like I had to show up in a certain way.I am here to empower you to instead, talk about what lights you up!!Because when you’re speaking from love and excitement and passion... people will hear that. People will be inspired by that.Even as an introvert – actually, especially as introverts – we don’t like doing the small talk thing.We like to dive in and talk about things that really matter to us – whether it’s the current theory that we’re reading about, or the new spiritual, personal development practice that we’re trying, or the new program that we’re in – we love to talk about things that we’re exited about, what we stand behind, that light us up.The same thing goes for speaking with confidence in your business and creating content and packages and content that you’ll really want to go out there and fill and sell.If you create something that you feel… “well… this looks right, this looks like a viable business idea/service and someone will buy it…” – if you come at it with that energy, you’re not going to be coming at it with a level of excitement.And the excitement and the inspiration factor is what’s going to get people in your tribe. People are going to hear your excitement and say – I want what she has.We all have different journeys – it’s about getting in touch with your own journey.Maybe you…&gt;&gt; Went through a health crisis and learned how to listen to your intuition and learned how to nourish your body in a way that you wouldn’t have been able to do if you had listened to everyone else&gt;&gt; Have a weight loss/fitness journey&gt;&gt; Have been through a relationship journey&gt;&gt; Left the herd, and have done something different than what was expected of you&gt;&gt; Been through a major transformational journey&gt;&gt; Took a different career path&gt;&gt; Are a healer who loves all things Yoga/Reiki/Crystal Healings/Tarot Readings&gt;&gt; Have gone through a life-changing spiritual journeyThese can all be pieces of your story, and when you talk about, you get LIT up and super excited to share with other people because you’ve been there and you get it.It gets kinda weird when you talk about things that you haven’t been through yourself. Like, in the beginning, I would not have been able to talk about starting a business successfully because I hadn’t done that yet – so that wouldn’t feel aligned for me, and I would have to borrow from other people’s voices and I wouldn’t know what that process looks like for me (yet!)What’s your story? What DO you know? What do you LOVE talking about forever and ever? What’s the topic you can go on and on about?Once you know that, the rest is much easier to figure out, from that place, you can create programs and packages that light you up, and create content that lights you up.Your light lights up the world.It’s ok to be a beginner and to not REALLY know what you want to coach people with yet– let yourself be there if that’s where you are.There will sometimes be elements of your story where it will be obvious – you had a major health transformation and now want to help other women find that for themselves.But sometimes it’s less obvious than that – maybe you went through a tough transformational period in your life and you healed yourself of addictions, or depression or anxiety, and you don’t necessarily want to help people with that, but you do want to help people with map out their journey and inspire them along the way.Once you connect the dots between what you help people with and your story, it gets really clear and exciting.And honestly, the only way is to move forward through trial and error and discovery, and to trust the process.I went from career coach for college women, business coach, happiness coach, bridal coach, transformational coach, and now, success coach.My point is, is that in each of these phases, I totally went for it – I made business cards, websites, freebies… I really went for it. When I thought I wanted to be a bridal coach, I surrounded myself in the industry and even assisted a wedding planner to see if I wanted to be in that industry.It was only through taking action and eliminating, that I found my own voice and discovered “this is what I want to help people with!” I took a ton of action!When you finally find that THING that lights you up – AKA your superpower – THEN you can create awesome signature programs and feel confident about selling them because you KNOW you can help your clients get to the other side because you’ve been there yourself (or have helped others get there!).The confidence pieces comes from knowing yourself and eliminating and seeing what you love – it doesn’t come from guessing and sitting at home, which is what I thought early in the game. You’ve got to get out there!There’s this really cool lightbulb moment that goes on with my private clients when I help them with this piece. The second they realize who they are meant to serve and how they already have so much knowledge and passion on the topic – they feel like they were BORN to share their message. When I thought I wanted to be a bridal coach, I surrounded myself in the industry and even assisted a wedding planner to see if I wanted to be in that industry.<h2>It was only through taking action and eliminating, that I found my own voice and discovered “this is what I want to help people with!” I took a ton of action!</h2>When you finally find that THING that lights you up – AKA your superpower – THEN you can create awesome signature programs and feel confident about selling them because you KNOW you can help your clients get to the other side because you’ve been there yourself (or have helped others get there!).The confidence pieces comes from knowing yourself and eliminating and seeing what you love – it doesn’t come from guessing and sitting at home, which is what I thought early in the game. You’ve got to get out there!There’s this really cool lightbulb moment that goes on with my private clients when I help them with this piece. The second they realize who they are meant to serve and how they already have so much knowledge and passion on the topic – they feel like they were BORN to share their message. I am SO happy to be recording a new episode of the Podcast – we moved website hosting and our podcast to a completely new platform, and it was a much longer and complicated process than I thought… and this got pushed to the bottom of the pile.But I’m back, and ready to start off this new season with fresh episodes for you, the intuitive, introverted and empath lightworker.At the time this Podcast is coming up, I am feeling the inward, introspective energy of fall…Which brings me to today’s topic – I can’t wait to bring with you today’s topic, “the only reason you have no clients (yet!) &amp; Still Feel Stuck In Your Business … and what to do about it.” Let’s get into it! I know that many of you are in the early stages of business – you don’t have consistent coaching income and clients yet, and you still feel like a new entrepreneur. You question if you’re a legitimate business owner, because you’re not sure if you have the right structures set up to bring you quality leads, and clients you love working with… nothing is working, yet.This is a VERY normal place to be… I hung out there for the first 2 years of my business!  I also noticed that many of you have been in this early stage of business for longer than is comfortable… and it’s starting to feel very, very uncomfortable.I know this feeling, because I’ve felt it.For some of you, to get to this point might take half a year. For others, a year. For others, it could mean 5 years.Before I dive into the ONLY reason you’re not getting clients and what to do about it, I wanna share 3 signs that YOU are at this entrepreneurial fork in the road where something WILL change, whether or not you’re ready for it… I like to see it as, the Universe is nudging you along!You’re starting to feel desperate – like you’re out of time, money, patience, and you’ve done everything you can. You’re grasping at straws trying to make it happen.You feel more heavy than light when you think about your business. The initial wave of excitement you had when you first started out, and had the idea to be a coach, is gone, except for the little bursts of enthusiasm you have here and there.You start to compromise your desires and think things like, it’s ok if I don’t become a FULL time coach, and live the lifestyle I really desire. As long as I make a difference somehow, some way – even if it’s in my 9-5! – I’ll be happy. You’re starting to move away from your dreams in order not to feel hurt if they don’t happen.From what I’ve observed, this is the make or break it point for entrepreneurs, where the road splits into 3 paths -You stay feeling this way – like a new entrepreneur who isn’t really getting anywhere – indefinitely. Everything starts to feel more heavy, and you feel frustrated, self-defeated, and your self confidence is shot. Your initial enthusiasm and message feels dim and far away.You throw in the towel and decide, this isn’t gonna work for me. It’s time to give up, get a job, stop dreaming. This breaking point might take years for you to get to, but you get here nonetheless. This is gonna sound harsh, but you settle for YOUR version of mediocre.You DO NOT BACK DOWN. Instead, you decide that enough is enough and you make a decision to stop letting your fears, doubts, and excuses win. You decide to take on the mindset of the version of you who is successful, and you are diligent about making mindset your priority.If you’re listening to this right now, I want to take a moment to directly speak to YOU – if we were in the same room, I’d be looking you right in the eye.I wanna tell you - if you are HERE, hearing this message – number 3 is the only option for you.You are MEANT TO DO GREAT THINGS, and you owe it to yourself to LIVE OUT YOUR DESIRES, whatever they may be.Maybe your desires shift and evolve along the way – that’s great, that’s normal – but I NEVER, EVER want you to give up on yourself and settle for a mediocre life. You are meant for more. The ONLY Reason You Have No Clients &amp; Feel Stuck In An Unaligned Job is because you are not fully committed, in one way to another, to your personal transformation AND thriving business success.Maybe you are doing the strategy… but you’re inconsistent with your DAILY SPIRITUAL MINDSET PRACTICE. You push it to the side, thinking it’s not as important as the marketing, but deep down – you know that’s a lie.Or maybe you are doing daily mindset work… but you’ve neglected to find the right strategy that works for you, and you’re not taking REAL LIFE ACTION.Or maybe – and this is where I was stuck - you still had an exit plan, a backup job in case it didn’t all work. A part of you doesn’t wanna let go of the perceived safety of thinking, “if it doesn’t work I can still... have a 9-5, be a nanny, work for X company, etc.” When you make decisions from this place… they come with the option of failure, and things like investing in your business become scary.When success if your only option, and you KNOW and feel that in  your soul… your decisions become aligned with success. And like I shared, I have felt it all when it comes to taking full responsibility and commitment to my transformation and my business. In the beginning, I wasn’t business savvy at ALL and thought… the Universe will bring me the right clients! I will meditate, and feel aligned, and network, and trust that the right people will somehow find me if they are meant to work with me. When that didn’t work… I swung the other way - I bought all the courses, bookmarked all the articles, took a thousand notes. I was like a sponge, soaking in all the online marketing strategy (which was confusing, because often people taught conflicting things). What was actually happening was that I had a lot of beliefs running in the background that were stopping me, that I had NOT worked through… To name a few, I thought that success only meant HARD WORK and unhappiness. I didn’t feel right about receiving financial compensation for the work I was doing.I felt safer playing small. It wasn’t until I finally stopped RUNNING and denying my sabotaging beliefs that I was able to heal them, and create the space I needed for my business to thrive.It was hard. I meditated a LOT. I cried a LOT on the floor, especially when I did the inner child work. It wasn’t FUN.But wanna know what’s harder?NOT LIVING THE LIFE YOU KNOW YOU WERE BORN TO LIVE, THE LIFE YOU WERE CALLED TO LIVE.I’m not perfect today – I don’t think anyone is ever DONE healing their limiting beliefs - but I’ve transformed ENOUGH to have a successful thriving business and lifestyle.So, I promised to share what to do about this – You have to figure out what beliefs  - and they are often ONE OR TWO major ones – are stopping you from achieving your next step of success and happiness.Once you do that, you’ve got to re-write the beliefs. 057: The Only Reason You Have No Clients (Yet!) & Still Feel Stuck In Your Business… And What To Do About It

Maybe you decided on a blog, a Podcast, a video series, Instagram, graphics, or a FB Live show.Now that you know how you would like to speak to your tribe, now it’s time to figure out what content to create.Remember, last time I said “As an online coach and entrepreneur, the only way you can make sales and get clients is by putting out consistent content that your ideal customers will love and resonate with.”Your job is to find out what your ideal customer loves learning about and engaging in when it comes to your specific topic.Of course, a big part of this is figuring out your ideal customer, which is a whole, ginormous process in itself, that I teach to my private clients and couldn’t possibly fit into a Podcast.But, for now, let’s say you already have an idea of your ideal customer and who she or he is, and that you know what topic you want to help your clients with.For example, in a nutshell, my ideal customer is an introverted, intuitive woman who is a new or aspiring coach. My main topic is showing my ideal customer how to have a more fulfilling, joyful lifestyle by learning how to create a sustainable, profitable coaching business where she’s able to use her unique talents and skills to transform the lives of her clients.Once you have that down, you’re ready to create some awesome content!4 Steps To Create A Year’s Worth Of Content That Your Tribe Will Love, Resonate With, &amp; Be Served By:Step 1: Brainstorm 12 Sub-topics (one for every month). Examples: Say your topic is nutrition.Potential sub-topics could be: yummy clean recipes, what foods to eat depending on their body type, supplements, how to grocery shop, how to meal prep your lunch, how to wean yourself off of sugar, etc.Step 2: Write out 1-2 common problems that your tribe has for every sub-topic. IT 036: A Painless Way To Create A Year’s Worth Of Content That Your Tribe Will Love, Resonate With, & Be Served By

Purple Intuitive Tuesday PLB WP Optimization Today, I’m talking about the one practice that ALL lightworkers need to establish to consciously manifest and attract amazing things into their lives.As a lightworker, it is of super huge ultimate and EXTREME importance that you regularly hit pause in your life to celebrate your accomplishments and how far you’ve come on your journey, even if you don’t feel like celebrating or think you have nothing to celebrate yet.Celebrating is an important ingredient to conscious manifesting, and it also has the benefit of instantly making you feel more happy and abundant.Click here to listen to the episode in iTunes, or here to listen to it directly on my website. Or, read the transcript below.If you’re anything like me, you’re constantly moving and making things happen. You’re on the go, and you love it that way! Planners are your best friend (even though sometimes it’s just the idea of planners) and you love setting goals and achieving them.Striving all of the time might be coded in your DNA, but it comes with the side effect of never acknowledging how far you’ve come.The second you’ve accomplished something major, you’re on to the next big thing, and you’ve only allowed yourself a tiny moment of celebration.It’s the whole carrot on a stick analogy.For example, in the past year, I’ve created two online programs, grown my email list to a number I previously thought was impossible, attracted amazing partners, hired my own business coach, ran hugely successful Facebook ad campaigns and online workshops, and replaced my 9-5 income by doing something I love to do – serve other women entrepeneurs and lightworkers!Looking back, I don’t quite remember hitting pause in between. I just sort of go, AWESOME, what’s next?!?!But the message I’ve been getting lately is to allow myself room to pause – even for a brief moment – to acknowledge all of the amazing things I’ve accomplished in my business and life. It’s incredibly affirming, regardless of where you are on your path, because it shows you how everything is forward movement, and how everything did happen for a reason. Everything makes a lot more sense in hindsight.You don’t have to be exactly where you want to be in your life to celebrate.In fact, it would be counter productive to wait until everything is absolutely perfect before you allow yourself space for expansion and appreciation of everything good that has happened to you.Even if you’re just starting a business, or figuring out what sort of lightwork you want to bring into this world, or if you’re pioneering your own spiritual journey,I guarantee you are further along your path than you were a year ago.CLICK TO TWEET: Appreciating your journey and acknowledging its value attracts more abundance to your life and keeps you in a high vibration.You can celebrate leaving a destructive 9-5. I could just be sitting in my car or driving along.If you’re been following my work, you know I’m a huge fan of visualizing my future self and gaining knowledge and strength from her wisdom.Have a Girl Crush On YourselfI do a sort of backwards version of that –I look back on myself and what I’ve done in the last few months, and think wow, she is so awesome and really transforming her life.Maybe you’d like a little more structure. If that’s the case, schedule it in for once a month, once a week… whatever feels good.I know I’m being ambiguous when I say do whatever feels good, but that’s just the thing – it has to feel good and be a natural process for you. Use your intuition and tune in - the Universe might be throwing signs your way to slow down and reflect!For example, if you’re listening to this Podcast right now, I bet you could use a pause!Take inventory right now and give yourself a smile and think, I kicked so much ass over the past few months, and there is so much more where that came from! And sit in the splendor and truth of that statement.Another thing you could do is have a friend you check in with once a month where you simply gush about what you’ve done and what you’re proud of.A note here – if you feel uncomfortable about this exercise, like you’re boasting or being prideful… check in with that feeling and see what that’s about.Another thing you could do is do is journal every full moon and write down everything you’re proud of yourself for doing in the past month.If you don’t pause and celebrate your accomplishments and forward movement, you will forever be in a space of lack and “not good enough”, and not be able to see the amazing good that has already happened in your life.This lowers your vibration and keeps you in an awful, anti-motivational space.Alright my lovely lightworkers, that is all I have for you today. Planners are your best friend (even though sometimes it’s just the idea of planners) and you love setting goals and achieving them.<h2>Striving all of the time might be coded in your DNA, but it comes with the side effect of never acknowledging how far you’ve come.</h2>The second you’ve accomplished something major, you’re on to the next big thing, and you’ve only allowed yourself a tiny moment of celebration.It’s the whole carrot on a stick analogy.For example, in the past year, I’ve created two online programs, grown my email list to a number I previously thought was impossible, attracted amazing partners, hired my own business coach, ran hugely successful Facebook ad campaigns and online workshops, and replaced my 9-5 income by doing something I love to do – serve other women entrepeneurs and lightworkers!Looking back, I don’t quite remember hitting pause in between. I just sort of go, AWESOME, what’s next?!?!<h2>But the message I’ve been getting lately is to allow myself room to pause – even for a brief moment – to acknowledge all of the amazing things I’ve accomplished in my business and life. </h2>It’s incredibly affirming, regardless of where you are on your path, because it shows you how everything is forward movement, and how everything did happen for a reason. IT 014: The 1 Practice That ALL Lightworkers Need to Establish ASAP

Download Episode 53's Show NotesClick here to listen to the Podcast via iTunes (be sure to subscribe!).Or read the transcript below.Episode 53: The NEW Love, Light &amp; Business Podcast!One of the number one questions I get asked is this - how do I tune into my intuition to receive business guidance?I totally get the question because so often, we reach a point where we “know” what to do next in terms of strategy or logistics - we know to publish the blog post or website, to schedule out our content, to figure out our ideal client already! - but for some reason, we feel stuck either energetically, or we’re just not seeing results in our business.For example, I had a client recently who was doing all of the right things - she was showing up regularly on social media, publishing her newsletter, getting a 60% converting opt-in page… but she was NOT getting any requests for discovery sessions (by the way, if this is all gibberish to you, stay tuned for the next episode where I’ll break down the online marketing funnel in every day language).After we made sure to tweak and optimize her marketing funnel and Instagram ads, I knew something else was going on. So, I asked her to drop into her intuition and ask for guidance on what to do next.Within a couple of days, she reached out to me and told me her intuition guided her to check her application page, and her spam folder, and she actually had 5 applications waiting for her and she didn’t even know!! On top of that, her application wasn’t functioning properly on her website, and she never thought to check!Do you see how intuition comes in handy with business?I’ll give an example from my own life… and I have a HUGE bit of exciting news to share, but before I get into that, let me explain how this whole “use your intuition in life” thing started for me… I’ve never shared this whole story, and I think it’s time!!In 2010, I had just graduated from college and was working as a teller at the bank and freelance writing for the local paper and some online how-to sites (remember E-how? Yup, i used to get paid a whopping $50 per article!). Not my dream jobs, but hey, it paid the bills! And I started to get into this huge existential crisis, asking myself… what am I meant to do with my life? Then one night, I had a MAJOR fight with my husband - then boyfriend - and I was in so much pain, when all of a sudden it was like my brain stopped working and I woke up to the present moment. Things got all sparkly, and it was like I was seeing everything around me for the first time. I had NO idea what was happening but I know it felt amazing. The feeling lasted for about a day, and then I started searching for this feeling again… which led me down the path of meditation and yoga. My whole life became about finding this amazing feeling - which later, a meditation workshop leader told me was a satori, or sudden enlightenment - again.I bought my first matching meditation pillows from Cost Plus World Market, set up a cool little altar with a Buddha sculpture - also from World Market - and sat myself down. I didn’t know this at the time, but I had unknowingly stepped into a lifelong spiritual journey that would lead me to where I am today.Then… flow started to happen and I started receiving intuitive hits, as you do when you begin tapping in.I’ll shorten the month-long sequence of events that led me to move to New York City, but it went something like this:Read The 4 Hour Workweek. Go to Borders. Buy a pretty magazine. Reach out to the editor-in-chief and leave a voicemail on her phone. Receive a call from said editor. Work my butt off and save to move to New York to become a writer, like Carrie Bradshaw. Alright, let me jump in here and talk about New York for a second. Shortly after moving to New York, I started getting this really strange energy from the editor who told me she’d hire me and hook me up with a job. Turns out, she was shutting down her magazine due to personal problems, and it ended up getting ugly. But I was determined and in flow to make it in New York, blasting “Empire State of Mind” all day very day, allowing my intuition and desires to lead the way...I pounded the pavement, and within a month, had networked with editors from the top national women’s magazines in the city, and within 2 months, was contributing, interning, and writing for 3 of them, in addition to contributing to online magazines on dating, travel, and health.It was this unique way of trusting my intuition, listening to it, and moving toward my evolving desires that allowed me to:…. Be introduced to Gabby Bernstein, a mentor who would change the course of my life from her workshop in a tiny yoga studio in the East Village. … Know that it was the right move to go back to California after I realized the 9-5 editor lifestyle wasn’t for me. … Join B-School, train to be a coach, and build a coaching business while I was in a 9-5. … Know it was right to quit my 9-5 (even though I thought I’d be there for 3 more years)… Move to San Diego, the city I’d dreamed about living in since back when I was a teller. … Travel the world and meet my very best friends while doing it...And today… ready for that exciting bit of news I mentioned earlier?!? -… I know that it’s the right move for me to go back to the San Francisco Bay Area (at least for this next year… ).I know. Crazy, right?Let me back up… about 4 months ago, I stopped feeling completely aligned with San Diego, much like how I stopped feeling aligned with New York. What I thought I wanted - to grow old and have babies here - stopped being what I wanted (luckily, my husband was on board and in fact was the one who posed the question - do you still want that life here?).My desire was telling me to move back to the Bay Area to establish a home base from traveling the world near my family, and my intuition was telling me… this is where your next chapter begins. Go.And let me tell you, I tried to ignore this little intuitive hit even more than I ignored the hit to leave New York City after finding success - I mean HELLO, San Diego was my DREAM - … but the signs were everywhere! I even had different friends - who don’t know each other - ask me if I was going to move from San Diego out of the blue.So, I’m going. It was NOT an easy decision - following your intuition isn’t always convenient - but doing otherwise can have a lot of other unwanted repercussions.I know your version of listening to your intuition and going with your evolving desires might not be as extreme as moving all around the country as your desires evolve and change, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have story that’s looking to evolve and to be written.Now, you might be asking… how do I tune into my intuition? How do I even receive these intuitive hits about what to do next in the context of my current desires? Great questions. So now I’d love to share with you some practices, tools, and a bonus superpower that will help you hear your intuition in your business and life, in the context of your desires and what feels good.First step… get clear on your ultimate pressing desire right now is. What do you REALLY want that you think about often?Next, it’s about tuning into your intuition to receive guidance on the matter... like is it time to leave your 9-5? Should you stay for another year? Should you move? Is it time to have a baby? What do you want to move forward?After you have your question, let’s talk practices that will help you get in touch with your inner guide!Regular meditation and journaling form the bread and butter of tuning into my intuition. In the show notes, I’ll share with you my favorite meditations, guided visualizations, and journal prompts that help me on my journey.What’s important here is that you let this process be fluid, not rigid, and not like anyone else’s. Take what works from what I share, but if you don’t like meditating for 20 minutes, then don’t - meditate for 10. If Bikram Yoga or running is your form of meditation, do that. If you don’t like to journal, speak your prayers out loud. The point is that you get into a state of flow and connection with your higher power. It might feel awkward - or like nothing is happening at first - and that’s OK too. Stick with it, stay committed to receiving guidance on your desire, and continue to tap in and listen.Next, I’m happy to share with you the fun tools I use to tap into my intuition as a complement to meditation and journaling. I love using a pendant for yes/no answers, Tarot/Angel/Daily Inspiration Cards, books that bring me to center, and sage to clear any energy that may be making it hard to feel in flow. Literally, it’s that simple… it’s just a matter of finding different ways to RE-connect to the same energy connection.Oh yeah, and I want to share the bonus superpower I mentioned... FOCUS. Trust the guidance you receive, and definitely don’t receive a piece of guidance, and then ask 10 friends about their opinion on the matter.Keep it sacred, between you and your Source, and trust the guidance you receive. Otherwise - and def speaking from experience here - you’ll end up with 10 different opinions and feel even more confused on what to do next.One more word on focus… social media and the internet is set UP to be distracting and to cause us to look at a million bright shiny objects. I’ve even checked social media a bunch of times as a distraction to writing this longer-than-usual Podcast outline!BUT, success belongs to those of us who can focus and put boundaries on our time and energy.The ones who can focus move forward and create masterpieces. Sometimes, I think about Beethoven, Mozart, the great artists and I think… man, it must have been MUCH easier to be creative when all you had to distract you was a house phone that MAY or may not ring that day, and your neighbors who may or may not come over!!Be purposeful with how you spend your time and energy, and use your focus, in addition to your intuition, as your superpowers.Alright that is ALL for today’s episode! Today, I’m going to show you exactly how to do that for yourself.Before I tell you about how to use energy to manifest, I thought it would be helpful to define energy.Energy is quite literally, the frequency of vibrations.It’s the vibrations we give off, the energy of people around us, even plants – everything gives off energy. Even inanimate objects can be charged with energy – think crystals, talismans, malabeads. Even my workout clothes have energy - the energy of working out!Everything has energy – there are low energy vibes, and high energy vibes. The key to manifesting your goals is to get on the same energy vibe of your goals.Have you ever heard the theory that you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with? This is because, as energetic beings, we tend to match the energetic vibrations of those around us. Now, I want you to think about the 5 people you spend the most time with – what are their beliefs on goal setting?If they don’t align with how you want to feel when it comes to setting goals, listen up, because I have a quick tip that will help you overcome this.I want you to intentionally infuse your environment with people who are aligned with your goal-setting values.This is super important. Good!Now, I want to teach you the exercise that I use twice a day (once right when I wake up in the morning, and once before I sleep). This exercise is based from the book, Think and Grow Rich from Napoleon Hill, which is a must-read book for anyone interested in manifesting and accumulating wealth (and this should be everyone!). It’s .99 on Amazon, so go ahead and download it if you have a Kindle!My Daily Exercise For Manifesting With EnergyEvery morning and night I recite my Desire Statement (a.k.a. my goal) out loud. This is composed of what I desire and by when – I give it a deadline. Then, I energize my Desire Statement with the energy of my goal by meditating for 5-15 minutes on what my life will look like once I achieve my goal. I always end up smiling really wide a few minutes in, because it feels so amazing, which is really good – this is manifesting through energy at its finest!Now, I want you to take action. Write our your Desire Statement, and recite it out loud to yourself before bed and upon rising. After you read it, sit in the energy of what the attainment of that goal feels like.Awesome! Podcast Transcript:Hey introverted girl bosses!Welcome to Intuitive Tuesday, the radio show helping intuitives, introverts and empaths manifest the conscious and abundant life that they desire.Today, I want to share something that has just come to the surface for me. The simple awareness of what's going on with this for me has already brought a massive shift for me, so if there are those of you out there who are also dealing with this, then I want to bring your awareness to it.Today's Podcast is for you if you've ever tried to make yourself take up less time, less space, and even less money than what feels good, what feels expansive, and what feels abundant.Do you allow yourself to take up time and space?What about money for things that you want to buy... for pure joy?As an online entrepreneur and success coach, I have a lot more time and space than I've ever had.And I noticed that I have a tendency to squander it away!And if you're thinking... I have a corporate job, and I would never squander away my extra time if I had it.I totally get it - that was me, literally less than two years ago when I was in a corporate job.I used to say that if I didn't have a full time job, and I had all day to work on my business, then I would always be so productive with my time.But here I am... I noticed this pattern of whenever I had too much time, I found myself wasting it. Playing games, checking my email, texting my friends, scrolling through social media. And when I had too much energy, I used it.One of my favorite energy draining things to do when I have a ton of energy, is doing a deep clean on the house (and I really go for it!). After, my energy is gone. Now I have less of an excuse to do that because I hired a housekeeper, but that was one of my favorite excuses to spend energy.In regards to my space, I tended to walk quickly, avoided making eye contact with strangers, and I found myself sort of shrinking myself down and becoming ninja stealth mode.I asked myself... why am I squandering away my time and my space, what's causing this, is it because I'm an introvert... ?If that's what you're thinking, the answer is no, it's not because you're an introvert.I realized that I did this to get back into my comfort zone of having a set amount of time, energy, space, money... and it was a habit I didn't realize I had.And this habit is something that I picked up as a child, as a young teen, when I had to make myself smaller and less noticeable in my family because it meant that I was safe, safe from being ridiculed, safe from being laughed at, safe from getting attention, safe from being thought stupid.So the less attention I attracted to myself, the less I felt these things. The more I was able to be a stealthy ninja the whole day, the more I could survive the day without feeling embarrassed.This is a childhood belief that I was walking around with all day without realizing it.Why does this matter?It matters because the more present you are, the more successful you can be. The more success, joy and abundance will be attracted to you.Take up the damn space! This means that you'll begin to attract to you more joy, abundance and success.By being small, and rushing, and not having enough time... you'll attract more of that.By shrinking yourself down, you'll always be shrunk down.By always squandering away money and energy, you'll have and attract the amount of money and energy that is perhaps less than what you desire.In Think And Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill touches on the concept of having to fill your current space in order to move on to the next level.Think about the theory of evolution. Think about your personal evolution. Can you recall a time when you evolved somehow? Did you more than take up your previous space?When you more than fill your current space, you can't help but evolve.So what does this have to do with your business?This has everything to do with your business!Because if you don't claim your space, your time, your right to fully exist where you are right now, where you are today... you won't move forward in your business or be able to sustain success.You have to feel everything now, and you have to become a magnet for the expansion that you desire. You have to expand into yourself now and to be grateful and be present for everything that you have now because you will more than fill your space and you won't be able to help evolving.So how do you do this?No more rushing, no more shrinking, no more squandering your time and space, your right to exist.So if this resonates with you, I'm glad you listened to this. Your awareness to this is a major first step, and I also have a practice that will help you.I want you to breathe into the feeling of the expansion, of taking up time and space and energy. How does that feel?Allow yourself to experience pure laughter and joy and happiness, even if it feels foreign or silly at first... if you've been so used to making yourself small, making your joy small, play, laugh, dance, sing. Put down the blinds and do your thing, feel amazing because that is what you're going to attract to you.Become aware of yourself, become present in every moment.When you find yourself feeling tight or making yourself feel small, notice it! Podcast Transcript:Hey introverted girl bosses!Welcome to Intuitive Tuesday, the radio show helping intuitives, introverts and empaths manifest the conscious and abundant life that they desire.Today, I want to share something that has just come to the surface for me. The simple awareness of what's going on with this for me has already brought a massive shift for me, so if there are those of you out there who are also dealing with this, then I want to bring your awareness to it.<h2>Today's Podcast is for you if you've ever tried to make yourself take up less time, less space, and even less money than what feels good, what feels expansive, and what feels abundant.</h2>Do you allow yourself to take up time and space?What about money for things that you want to buy... for pure joy?As an online entrepreneur and success coach, I have a lot more time and space than I've ever had.And I noticed that I have a tendency to squander it away!And if you're thinking... I have a corporate job, and I would never squander away my extra time if I had it.I totally get it - that was me, literally less than two years ago when I was in a corporate job.I used to say that if I didn't have a full time job, and I had all day to work on my business, then I would always be so productive with my time.But here I am... I noticed this pattern of whenever I had too much time, I found myself wasting it. Playing games, checking my email, texting my friends, scrolling through social media. And when I had too much energy, I used it.One of my favorite energy draining things to do when I have a ton of energy, is doing a deep clean on the house (and I really go for it!). After, my energy is gone. Now I have less of an excuse to do that because I hired a housekeeper, but that was one of my favorite excuses to spend energy.In regards to my space, I tended to walk quickly, avoided making eye contact with strangers, and I found myself sort of shrinking myself down and becoming ninja stealth mode.I asked myself... why am I squandering away my time and my space, what's causing this, is it because I'm an introvert... ?If that's what you're thinking, the answer is no, it's not because you're an introvert.I realized that I did this to get back into my comfort zone of having a set amount of time, energy, space, money... and it was a habit I didn't realize I had.And this habit is something that I picked up as a child, as a young teen, when I had to make myself smaller and less noticeable in my family because it meant that I was safe, safe from being ridiculed, safe from being laughed at, safe from getting attention, safe from being thought stupid.So the less attention I attracted to myself, the less I felt these things. The more I was able to be a stealthy ninja the whole day, the more I could survive the day without feeling embarrassed.This is a childhood belief that I was walking around with all day without realizing it.Why does this matter?It matters because the more present you are, the more successful you can be. The more success, joy and abundance will be attracted to you.Take up the damn space! This means that you'll begin to attract to you more joy, abundance and success.By being small, and rushing, and not having enough time... you'll attract more of that.By shrinking yourself down, you'll always be shrunk down.By always squandering away money and energy, you'll have and attract the amount of money and energy that is perhaps less than what you desire.In Think And Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill touches on the concept of having to fill your current space in order to move on to the next level.Think about the theory of evolution. Think about your personal evolution. Can you recall a time when you evolved somehow? Did you more than take up your previous space?<h2>When you more than fill your current space, you can't help but evolve.</h2>So what does this have to do with your business?This has everything to do with your business!Because if you don't claim your space, your time, your right to fully exist where you are right now, where you are today... you won't move forward in your business or be able to sustain success.You have to feel everything now, and you have to become a magnet for the expansion that you desire. You have to expand into yourself now and to be grateful and be present for everything that you have now because you will more than fill your space and you won't be able to help evolving.So how do you do this?No more rushing, no more shrinking, no more squandering your time and space, your right to exist.So if this resonates with you, I'm glad you listened to this. Your awareness to this is a major first step, and I also have a practice that will help you.I want you to breathe into the feeling of the expansion, of taking up time and space and energy. How does that feel?Allow yourself to experience pure laughter and joy and happiness, even if it feels foreign or silly at first... if you've been so used to making yourself small, making your joy small, play, laugh, dance, sing. Put down the blinds and do your thing, feel amazing because that is what you're going to attract to you.<h2>Become aware of yourself, become present in every moment.</h2>When you find yourself feeling tight or making yourself feel small, notice it! IT 032: How To Create A Sacred NYE Ritual for 2017

Tune in on iTunes here, or read the transcript below!Transcript:Hello gorgeous lightworkers, it’s Mona Lisa, and it’s Intuitive Tuesday, the radio show helping intuitives introverts and empaths manifest the conscious and abundant life that they desire.Today’s topic is a message that I’ve been receiving straight from the Universe!  This topic has been coming up in my own life recently, with a majority of my private clients, in random emails, and in conversation with my support team.The truth is, lately, I’ve been feeling an intense need to lay low energetically… which basically means, I’ve been wanting to do nothing except read, journal, take long, luxurious baths, turn on the fireplace, and do Christmas-y things with my man.Now, this doesn’t come easy to me - I’m high-energy, go-getting, and love actively working on my lightworker business.It’s easier for me to run a full scale marketing campaign than to sit on the couch and do nothing. But this hibernating feeling is literally overriding my go-getting, gung-ho attitude. Every time I have a huge take-on-the-world plan for the day, my body tells me… how about we take a nap instead?Now before I realized what was going on, I started judging myself pretty harshly - I criticized myself for being lazy and unproductive. I started saying all kinds of mean, untrue things about myself.How dare I watch Gilmore Girls when there were launches to plan and campaigns to make? Hard work means success. Etc. Etc. That old programing came out, rearing its ugly head.So I started asking questions. I started outside of myself first, with my acupuncturist, who told me that hibernating is absolutely essential because spring is right around the corner. Seasonally, it’s time to go within, to do the inner work, to do exactly what I’ve been naturally called to do. Otherwise, we won’t feel refreshed come spring.When I meditated on this, I saw this was the truth for me. My inner guides confirmed what my body already knew. Then I started getting emails and messages all over the place that it’s time to relax and just be… that this is actually part of the process. Interestingly enough, when I had worked through this myself, almost all of my clients brought up this same concern in their sessions. Funny how that happens!So I want to pass the message on to you, too… the winter is the time for us to go within. To be cozy. To pass on the chaos, the franticness that the season may induce. To hibernate.Because ladies… spring is just around the corner.As introverted and intuitive lightworkers, you know this to be true, which is why you’re probably also feeling this need to withdraw.Listen to that.Listen to your body and your intuition.One of the reasons I wanted to start my own business was so that I could honor my natural cycles and rhythms. I remember writing out… when December comes, I want to take a full TWO WEEKS off, just like when I was in school. That was one of my why’s.And December is here, and I’m remember-ing … I’m exactly where I need to be, where I asked to be, before I even understood “why”. If you’re listening to this, chances are you might not yet have the luxury of taking 2 weeks off (but I know you’re working to get there!). So what does this look like for you?Maybe it means giving yourself permission to actually enjoy the days off you DO have for the holidays, by getting support… Maybe it means not cleaning and hiring a housekeeper (unless you love cleaning). Or scheduling a couple of spa dates with yourself.Maybe it means saying no to activities that don’t feel right at the moment. What’s important is that before making any decisions, listen to your inner guide first. Get quiet. Give yourself permission to slow down.For example, I LOVE my business mastermind sisters, and we’re all supposed to meet in LA for a girl boss brunch. Usually I’m excited and all about it, but when I listened to my truth, I knew it would be more in my service to stay home and bundle up for the weekend instead of jetset off to LA. And also, I didn’t want to show up and secretly want to be home - that wouldn’t be in service to my girl boss sisters!So promise me something… no judgments of being lazy this holiday season, ok?Follow your truth.If you find yourself doing nothing except drinking cocoa on the couch, that’s OK. Resting IS productive. Without it, you’ll burn yourself out and won’t have the fresh spring energy you’ll need to rock out in 2017. Finally, I want to address this line between lazy and hibernating. Honestly, the only one who knows the answer is you.Every moment, I’m asking myself… does this feel in service? Am I feeling aligned? Am I feeling inspired in this quiet, or lethargic? For example, I’m still planning out my new year, but I’m doing so in my cozy home, with my cozy socks on, surrounded by candles and Christmas lights.And when I do watch Netflix, I’m choosing shows that make me happy - Super Soul Sessions and Harry Potter! - and giving it my full attention and presence, rather than being on Facebook and email at the same time. I’m saying no to frantic.So relax, release and receive… and know that if you’re being called to hibernate, there’s a reason for that. You’re going to emerge being so, so ready for what’s next.Alright my loves, that’s all for today’s Podcast. IT 031: are you being lazy or just hibernating?

So I commonly get asked the question, how do I stay high vibe when I’m in a 9-5? At surface level, it makes complete sense to ask this question when you’re working your butt off to transition into the holy grail of online business - having your heart-centered, coaching business thats LIGHTS YOU UP with joy replace your day job income so you can finally be free to do YOU in the biggest way possible! But eventually - and this has happened to all of us ladies, and if you say otherwise you are lying! -  somewhere along the path, you have moments where you start to feel drained, tired, overwhelmed by all of the work you have to do, and you start to feel… you know, low-vibe and in serious need of some sage. And if you’re anything like how I was, you might even judge yourself for feeling low-vibe and doubtful of it can actually happen for you, and start to think, holy crap, I’m manifesting against myself… and then think, oh, wait, I’m not supposed to judge myself… I’m gonna manifest doom and gloom… and then, oh crap, I’m NEVER gonna get out of this 9-5….  and then spiral from there. Hopefully you don’t go down this downward spiral as often as I did (there was a point I did this every single night at around 2am), and if you do, know that you’ll be ok as long as you don’t give up on yourself - I mean, I turned out pretty well! But anyway, I digress... !So, at any rate, it’s often at this point, or on reflecting on your bad experience, that you then ask yourself, ok, how do I stay high-vibe while I’m in this 9-5?! You might follow that train of thought with: because it’s so hard for me to stay high-vibe when I hate my job, hate my boss, feel like this won’t even work for me, feel so afraid of being stuck in this situation forever, feel like I’m not doing any work that matters, wonder if I can even get compete with other coaches in the marketplace… you get the idea.So, the problem with asking yourself this question is that it is often born out of fear, and also assumes a lack of being high-vibe on your part.Do you see how that works? It’s subtle, but it’s there. The question itself makes a few assumptions… 1) that you have to stay high vibe 2) that you’re not high vibe already and focuses on the feeling of not being high-vibe because of your 9-5. 3) that it’s possible to even stay high vibe in your 9-5 (I’m not saying that it’s not, BUT for some of you, the universe might be making it extra hard and trying to get you to leave it so a different job or to go full time!!)Does that make sense why this is the wrong question to ask? I know this topic can be a little heady, but I know you guys can roll with this, and honestly, it’s in these small every day questions that we ask ourselves that can reveal so much about where we put our focus. We’ve got to learn how to start asking better questions of ourselves - stronger questions that feel good to ask, AND to answer.How does it make you feel when you think, “how do I stay high-vibe when I’m in a 9-5?” Personally, it makes me feel like I need to DO a bunch of things I’m not already doing, and make some kind of list to follow. I also started writing a list to answer this question - I was excited, and was like, I’m ON IT, I can list a ton of things to do to stay high-vibe and share what I did - until I got really grounded and realized - this doesn’t feel expansive. Maybe I’ll be excited to write this list, but how feasible is it anyway for anyone to literally follow this list every day of their life? I know I’ve read a bunch of lists that I’ve thought were inspiring, but haven’t taken action on consistently. They could probably write a better list that’s more applicable to themselves if they really wanted to! SO the answer ISN’T EVEN the real issue here - it’s the question.So, what’s a better question to ask? Pause this Podcast - really, do it - and jot down what a better feeling question to ask would be. What is a more powerful, empowering question to ask yourself that will help you instantly feel connected? I’ll give you a moment.I hope you did that and paused! So I’ll share a few better questions, and you can add these to what you’ve come up with. How am I already high-vibe? What am I doing right now that makes me so incredibly happy to be me? What am I excited to create? What am I grateful for?And let me give you a hint - write down answers that immediately FEEL GOOD because feeling good is the point. Feeling good IS high vibe. Isn’t that awesome? You can START small - with where it feels good already - even if those things have nothing to do with your business. So if your 9-5 doesn’t feel so good to think about right now, don’t focus on it! Instead, think… mmm, I really love this chai latte or tea I’m drinking. Seriously, I have GREAT taste in tea though. Or, this blanket is super warm and snuggly… and being warm and snuggly is wonderful. Train yourself to BASK in this moments and notice it, and don’t even entertain the shitty questions you ask yourself with energy (and if you do, that’s ok, too - come back!). One of my go-to warm thoughts is my husband - how he’s mega supportive, and literally, super warm (don’t you just love how men happen to be like the warmest creatures in the world?!).  Do you see what I’m doing here? The point is to feel good...... because what you’re doing is re-calibrating your energy default point to be on what feels good, and when you know what feels good, and focus on that, everything will start to align with feeling good because you won’t be so focused on what doesn’t. OK, so if a part of you is like, ok, that’s well and good, but what if I’m at work and my boss pisses me off and I don’t feel so good?! GREAT! Well, you’ve gotta get to the point where you see that and realize that OH, that’s what we call CONTRAST. And contrast is there to show us what we DON’T want anymore. What has stopped feeling good. Without the contrast, you won’t know as strongly what feels good - you won’t have birthed a MEGA desire in the other direction. If your 9-5 didn’t suck so much, if it fulfilled your every desire, and made you feel like you were making a difference… well now, you wouldn’t be trying to leave so hard, would you? Out of contrast, our desires are born. It’s subtle, but it’s there. The question itself makes a few assumptions… 1) that you have to stay high vibe 2) that you’re not high vibe already and focuses on the feeling of not being high-vibe because of your 9-5. 3) that it’s possible to even stay high vibe in your 9-5 (I’m not saying that it’s not, BUT for some of you, the universe might be making it extra hard and trying to get you to leave it so a different job or to go full time!!)Does that make sense why this is the wrong question to ask? I know this topic can be a little heady, but I know you guys can roll with this, and honestly, it’s in these small every day questions that we ask ourselves that can reveal so much about where we put our focus. <h2>We’ve got to learn how to start asking better questions of ourselves - stronger questions that feel good to ask, AND to answer.</h2>How does it make you feel when you think, “how do I stay high-vibe when I’m in a 9-5?” Personally, it makes me feel like I need to DO a bunch of things I’m not already doing, and make some kind of list to follow. I also started writing a list to answer this question - I was excited, and was like, I’m ON IT, I can list a ton of things to do to stay high-vibe and share what I did - until I got really grounded and realized - this doesn’t feel expansive. Maybe I’ll be excited to write this list, but how feasible is it anyway for anyone to literally follow this list every day of their life? I know I’ve read a bunch of lists that I’ve thought were inspiring, but haven’t taken action on consistently. They could probably write a better list that’s more applicable to themselves if they really wanted to! SO the answer ISN’T EVEN the real issue here - it’s the question.So, what’s a better question to ask? Pause this Podcast - really, do it - and jot down what a better feeling question to ask would be. <h2>What is a more powerful, empowering question to ask yourself that will help you instantly feel connected? </h2>I’ll give you a moment.I hope you did that and paused! So I’ll share a few better questions, and you can add these to what you’ve come up with. How am I already high-vibe? What am I doing right now that makes me so incredibly happy to be me? What am I excited to create? What am I grateful for?And let me give you a hint - write down answers that immediately FEEL GOOD because feeling good is the point. Feeling good IS high vibe. Isn’t that awesome? You can START small - with where it feels good already - even if those things have nothing to do with your business. So if your 9-5 doesn’t feel so good to think about right now, don’t focus on it! Instead, think… mmm, I really love this chai latte or tea I’m drinking. Seriously, I have GREAT taste in tea though. Or, this blanket is super warm and snuggly… and being warm and snuggly is wonderful. Train yourself to BASK in this moments and notice it, and don’t even entertain the shitty questions you ask yourself with energy (and if you do, that’s ok, too - come back!). One of my go-to warm thoughts is my husband - how he’s mega supportive, and literally, super warm (don’t you just love how men happen to be like the warmest creatures in the world?!).  Do you see what I’m doing here? <h2>The point is to feel good...</h2>... because what you’re doing is re-calibrating your energy default point to be on what feels good, and when you know what feels good, and focus on that, everything will start to align with feeling good because you won’t be so focused on what doesn’t. OK, so if a part of you is like, ok, that’s well and good, but what if I’m at work and my boss pisses me off and I don’t feel so good?! GREAT! Well, you’ve gotta get to the point where you see that and realize that OH, that’s what we call CONTRAST. And contrast is there to show us what we DON’T want anymore. What has stopped feeling good. <h2>Without the contrast, you won’t know as strongly what feels good - you won’t have birthed a MEGA desire in the other direction. </h2>If your 9-5 didn’t suck so much, if it fulfilled your every desire, and made you feel like you were making a difference… well now, you wouldn’t be trying to leave so hard, would you? Out of contrast, our desires are born.
