Phineas Bresee lived in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He would go on to be one of the founding members of the Church of the Nazarene. He encouraged the church to be welcoming to all and especially the lowly.In his sermon, "Baptism With Fire," he reminds us that God's fire is a cleansing good for our soul.
