In August 1976, Police Officer Brian Gosselin had a face-to-face encounter with a Bigfoot-type creature on Abair Road in Whitehall, NY. This event set off a firestorm of publicity, and his encounter became a landmark case that has withstood the test of time. Brian has been featured on MonsterQuest and most recently was the subject of the Small Town Monsters documentary film Beast of Whitehall. Although keeping a low profile, Brian continues to be an avid researcher and has conducted numerous investigations in the Whitehall area and surrounding Adirondack Mountains with some impressive results. He has just released his first book, written by his wife, Sue Gosselin, regarding his encounter and many other pieces of information about that event and ongoing events in the Whitehall area that have not been released before. Brian is dedicated to helping others who have had their own encounters and continues to search for the truth.
