How can we manage complexity from the hardware to society and everything in between? The answer is simple: we come together — academia, research, industries, legislators, organization, and individuals.Defending a country is different from defending a corporate network as the environments can be wildly different and complex. Protecting citizens' and customers' privacy is different from protecting sensitive business information as the expectations and methods through which it is managed can be vastly different and complex. Designing devices and applications and systems with security and privacy first sound like a reasonable goal to have, but complexities up and down the stack can make this nearly impossible.In this conversation, we bring these three very diverse topics and the Black Hat Asia 2020 speakers that present them together on a conversation that will undoubtedly make you think forward.
