La Batalla de Berlín, una de las batallas finales de la Segunda Guerra Mundial entre la Alemania Nazi y la Unión Soviética, trajo como consecuencia directa la rendición incondicional de Alemania ante el Ejército Rojo. Los soldados soviéticos, no obstante, tuvieron que pelear casa por casa durante toda la batalla, a pesar de su superioridad numérica.
