He has exhibited throughout the US and internationally and was recently awarded an Artist-in-Residence at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Aspen, CO (Fall, 2017). In episode 9 of the Radio Juxtapoz Podcast, hosts Evan Pricco and Doug Gillen sit down with American painters Christian Rex van Minnen and Aaron Johnson the night after their collective solo show, In Heaven, Everything is Fine, opened at Ross + Kramer Gallery in NYC.
