Born and raised in Chicago, Laurie holds a BA from Loyola University. She has worked in the fields of education, social services, and non-profit management at a variety of organizations in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Sarasota. Prior to coming to Venice Theatre in 2008, she was the Director of Communications for Habitat for Humanity in Sarasota.
