Julie is a Naturopath based in Melbourne Australia that has a passion for helping people with mental health and chronic health conditions. She is a strong advocate of psychosomatic medicine and the author of Your body is your teacher- it whispers until it has to scream. Julie’s approach is right up my alley. In her book she covers how imbalances in your life such as overcommitment and family trauma is reflected as imbalances in the body and likely lead to illness. She covers real life stories and links the emotions behind different issues which I love because like Julie’s story today, sharing helps us learn. Thanks to Julie for sharing her story experiencing suicide of her partner whilst pregnant and sharing her experience with chronic illnesses and acknowledging the emotional state that plays a big part in health and healing. Julie Seamer is a long accredited Naturopath and Herbalist specialising in mental health and the effects of grief and loss on our physiology.  Julie has herself endured much hardship, after overcoming partial paralysis and being told she'd never walk again, she lost her partner to suicide while pregnant seven years ago.  A passionate advocate for the destigmatisation of mental illness, Julie continues to strive in making a difference through the natural health arena and is now using her 20 years of experience to help others deal with grief and loss, as well as a range of issues that have a physiological impact on our health.
