As several friends and family members helped with projects around the community, the non-profit LOVEtheLOU was formed. Many of us listening have volunteered or have thought about volunteering for a non-profit. This Tuesday, we the Founder of LOVEtheLOU, Lucas Rouggly share his journey from Pastor to Founder. LOVEtheLOU is a St Louis not for profit with a mission to stabilize north city one neighborhood at a time by providing as many resources as possible into one neighborhood. He shares the value and importance of just listening to the community you are serving. He shares his struggle with understanding his limits, which we all can have trouble with. Whether we push the limits too far or we underestimate what we are capable of. We also talk about the importance of understating your strengths and weaknesses.
