Mari Miyoshi began her career as an occupational therapist in 2001, working with children with various learning and developmental challenges in schools and sensory integration clinics. She found craniosacral therapy which piqued her curiosity about tissue memory and residual restrictions left in the body from traumatic experiences. She worked with clients who had experienced accidents and birth traumas, and found that when the body was compromised, it also affected the individual's daily life functioning in terms of executive functioning.
