Lindsay Musgrove is a 29 years old, Peer Support Specialist, working part time at a local mental health authority. She is also a writer and enjoys philosophy. Lindsay wants to bring mental illness not just to the forefront, but also the knowledge of lesser well understood disorders that are often overlooked. She's a local artist and cat meme enthusiast. These are some of the questions Lindsay and I dive into in today's episode!   “Is everybody looking at me? … [it's a] self-conscious fear … I felt like, everything was kinda, closing in… it was just very scary. From that point on, the anxiety got worse and I started to get a panic attack”  Lindsay shares, “...there is a step before facing your fears… having to find the ability to say, ‘Am I going to be able to do this?’ … everything is a process…”  We talked a lot about coping and acknowledgement: “...acknowledging that what you’re going through is valid, and acknowledging that what you’re experiencing has a name … with knowledge around how to overcome it … that’s where the power is.
