Do you realize how much pressure women endure until they reach this season, to continually demonstrate our worth in some type of metric based on financial contribution, success, or achievement, not only at home, but in a business or a brand? So we're delving deep into it today, because we had an incredible conversation about it at a mastermind event last week. And I recognized that this wasn't just a problem for me; it was a problem for all women. And we wondered how powerful it would be to make it public, to share it with you, to let you know you're not alone.   “Fulfillment for me is truly allowing myself to do work that gives me the amount of time that I really desire. So time to take care of myself, time to spend alone, time to spend time with my family. I think for me, I've really started to lean into that and knowing that actually get a lot of creativity and joy out of that versus this other masculine grind hustle side that I once thought really was how I define success. It's actually the complete opposite for me right now.” – Danielle Langton   “I think we realized there was a common theme with all of us. And I was like, oh my god, it's not just me, and feeling so much pressure as a woman to contribute equally or more to the family financially at all times, regardless of season, regardless of being a mom, regardless of if you want to or not, or somehow you are less than theirs. I didn't realize this until I started slowing down in my businesses, your how much pressure there is on moms to be more than a mom.” - Joy Harrington    “This idea that this new metric of like, I am a feminist, and I don't need a man, I make my own money, and it all being based on income and achievement. And really, the fact is that being a feminist had nothing to do with being feminine.
