By learning to embrace this experience in our lives, we can learn to have more fun and communicate on a richer and deeper level.POINT #1: "GIFTS FROM THE DARK"-We don't always get to live in a happy-go-lucky, everything is perfect state.  Sometimes that's not so bad.  Our encounters with sorrow and depression can teach us a lot about what has meaning in our lives and give us greater empathy for others.  Now create.POINT #2: "WRESTLING WITH WHAT IS"-The way events unfold in our lives don't always go how we think.  Life has a way of altering our plans and offering us opportunities for greater growth and understanding of who we are.  Learning to embrace this and enjoy it a little more helps us thrive as creatives.POINT #3: "WE ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE"-The more we learn how we have the power to choose our experience of the world, the quicker we can get to creating with greater aliveness. Curious about creativity and the courage it takes to have ideas and to communicate them in an empowered way, she started talking to creatives about their own relationship to their creative impulse, and sharing these conversations on her site 'Creative Life'. As an in person extension of the website, she hosts monthly play dates with creatives in Vancouver, giving them a place to goof-off, kindergarten style, and make art with their peers in a non-competitive atmosphere.
