The Red Bandana Bakery near me in Bethesda, MD is selling gluten free King Cake - a traditional Mardi Gras dessert. Any bakeries near you doing something special? In the first part of my recap of the Celiac Project Screening Q and A with Samra Blanchard, MD in February, I wanted to share something that really surprised me. According to Dr. Blanchard, if you have Celiac Disease and react to getting glutened quickly, you have Gluten Sensitivity. By quickly, she meant within a few hours of gluten consumption. For those with only Celiac, it takes longer for the autoimmune response to be noticed.
