Cruz's mother is Democratic Sen. Janet Cruz of Tampa and her partner is Tampa Mayor Jane Castor.Josko previously founded a Tampa-based public affairs firm he led for 15 years, and served in a senior-level position with an international strategic communications firm, where he advised national, state and local Republican candidates.
