In this episode of the Critical Yoga Studies podcast, two desi sisters, one Indian American and one Sri Lankan Canadian talk sci-fi, race, motherhood, and multi-scalar power. Her very name is an interruption, an unlikely bridge between Sinhalese and Tamil people, against all the odds stacked against unity amongst us. Rajni's visual and multi-media series document Black and Brown yoginis, traveling beings navigating the reality of displacement, mothers, dancers, planes, dimensions, the porous skin between human and spirit.
