Rae Davis Fehring is the executive director &amp; founder of Girls Rock! Des Moines; a non-profit organization that provides music centered programming to help young women develop self confidence, character, &amp; foster creativity. Rae has been a trained musician since she was a child, but only began writing her own music later in life. She is able to satisfy her diverse musical palette performing &amp; singing in her many projects; The Honeybees, Cover Grrrls, The Tighten Up!, as well as performing her own solo material. She is about to embark on a U.S. tour this Spring. Rae's contributions to Des Moines culture, not just musically but as an advocate and activist, are numerous and inspiring.
