Dr Bridie Kean is a 2 time Paralympian in wheelchair basketball for Australia. She has also completed a PhD looking at barriers and facilitators to playing wheelchair basketball in a collegiate / university setting. A wheelchair basketball paralympian, who owes some of her success to being poached for a US sports scholarship, wants to bring aspects of their system back to Australia, so as to entice the local talent to stay home.
