 Don McRae has written a number of sports books, including the seminal Dark Trade: Lost in Boxing.  Don also writes sports features for The Guardian newspaper in the UK. Here we talk about the conflict we feel covering such an inspiring but brutal sport, his recent experiences of a long interview with Sir Alex Ferguson and his childhood as a white boy in South Africa in the 1960s, growing up amid apartheid.
