About the Speaker:   Steven Marshall is currently the Family and Youth Minister at Vale Christian Church in Vale, Oregon where he has been since 2013.  Steven began attending Boise Bible College in the fall of 1994.  Where he met his wife Becky, and they were married in the Summer of 1997.  Steven received his Associate of Christian Education in 1998 and began working full-time in ministry.  In 2000, Steven received his Bachelor of Science in Christian Education. Steven and his wife Becky have three children. Steven has served at four churches, primarily in Oregon and Idaho.  Steven enjoys spending time with family, athletics, and the outdoors.   About Chapel:  The chapel theme for the 2021-2022 year is "upRoar". The Greek word that is translated as “uproar” isἐκταράσσω (ektarassō),: to agitate, to disturb wholly, to exceedingly trouble. Although an uproar is “seen,” it is preceded with a subversive force.  The church operates in a similar way, being subversive to the rhythm of the culture it exists within.
