This week’s show is a tribute to Ty (Rest In Peace) who sadly passed away recently. It has been broadcast early in addition to its regular Sunday slot. So a DJ mix for most of the show, focussing on some of the great music Ty recorded over the years. Including music from his albums on Big Dada, BBE and Jazz Refreshed. Some of Ty’s earlier releases with Shortee Blitz and The London All Stars. Recent music from the KINGDEM project alongside Rodney P and Blak Twang. A great remix of Lizz Fields Ty did with his co-producer Drew (soulful Broken Beats). Ty’s feature collaborations with Dego, The Bamboos and Terri Walker and more. A quality tribute to Ty from Durrty Goodz. A few tunes from the Kick Snare and an Idea EP series we were so pleased to release on Tru Thoughts. Gamechanger tracks like Wait A Minute and Groovement.
