Early winter morning. The sun hasn't even fully come up yet. You're awake and on your way to a frozen lake outside Toronto, coffee in hand and ready to chainsaw through metres of ice. You arrive to everyone doing breath work, trying to maintain any normal level of body warmth. Chainsaws stop, everyone dresses down, and hops into freezing temperature waters while playing chess, having conversations, listen to the sounds of moving ice. These minutes pass slower than microwave minutes, potentially even slower than stair master minutes dare I say. You hop out the water to smiles, hugs and warm coffee all round.
