Tim Shauf is the President and CEO of The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group.  Tim started his career with Algoma Mutual Insurance Company in 1992. In 1999 Tim took a position  with the former Farmers’ Mutual Insurance Company and was thrust into senior leadership early in his career . His 23 year involvement in the mutual insurance industry has also included sitting on a variety of Committees and Boards. Currently, Tim is the Past Deputy-President of the Governing Council of  the Insurance Institute of Ontario, Past Vice-Chair of his local Hospital Foundation and sat on the NAMIC Board of Directors and served on their Membership Committee.
