In the realm of eating disorder recovery, the coordination of care from doctors to dietitians to therapists to coaches and family is INCREDIBLY important. If all parties are not on the same page it can leave an individual confused and potentially less likely to get on track for recovery. This week on the show, Carolyn Robin, track and cross country coach at Quinnipiac University joined host and dietitian Julia Werth for the second time - but this time, Dana White, a sports dietitian and athletic trainer at QU came too! Together they discuss the importance of coaches and medical professionals being on the same page. I'll never forget that my cross country coach in high school told me running is 97% mental, which is all well and good until you're injured...Anyway, the things our coaches tell us stick!
