While we predominantly house, tech house and techno mixes, we invite local DJs to showcase their own unique style, and here Jett Chandon delivers a unique blend of beats from a broad spectrum of genres, keeping you on your toes for the duration of the mix. "I'm sure you want a description. I am horrible at descriptions so I can only tell you whats on my heart. I know you haven't had a mix like this featured in the DC House Grooves Meet the Locals Podcast before. It's extremely diverse. It pulls from all different genres such as techno, house, dancehall, UK Funky, Grime, Garage, bass, I mean you name it. That is the special thing about bass music, it continues to pull from all genres, from all categories. I know people have a miss conception of bass music. As soon as they hear the phrase, they tend to think that its loud, ravey, bullshit stuff which it is not. I hope this mix closes the gap, and hoping people realize its not what they think.  A lot of us bass kids don't get to play out as much even though on some key nights, the sound would fit perfectly.
