Alongside her many athletic accomplishments, Liz and her sister founded Little Bellas, a non-profit, all-girls mountain bike mentoring program, where she is dedicated to changing the narrative around food and sport for young athletes. In addition to her work with LizFoodCo, Liz currently works with the USA Triathlon and Cycling teams to help athletes achieve their potential at the 2021 Olympic Games. We talk about their own journeys through athletics and body image, how the language we use around food impacts our youth, how to prioritize performance without becoming obsessed with the numbers, how to keep food fun and conducive to performance, and so much more.
